I thought this was going to be so great, but when I got it home and put it on the crib, I wasn't happy and decided to return it. First of all, it's super ugly. The way you have to thread it through the crib slats doesn't help. Secondly, it offers absolutely no padding for the baby, in case they hit their head or whatever, which in my opinion is partly what a crib bumper is for. It should at least keep your child from putting their arms/legs through the slats... except it doesn't because you have to wrap it behind some of the slats, leaving big gaps around it. Yes, it's breathable, but that's the only good part. I can see it being great if you have a round crib or one with a wide back panel instead of slats, or something else unusual. If you've got a normal crib, get a normal crib bumper. They're cuter and cover all the slats your baby can access. This net one isn't any easier to put on than the regular kind.

We bought this product for the safety features, yet it was very difficult to set up on our average size crib. The velcro was not placed in the appropriate places to fit on the slats of our crib and therefore the directions did not apply. It took at least 30 minutes to an hour to figure out how to get it to work on our crib. Based on the construction of the product (where the velcro is), I would not recommend this.

I absolutely LOVE this bumper! We initially had the regular one on our daughters crib, which was fine but I didn't have the peace of mind to sleep at night. She moves so much throughout the night I was always afraid she would sufficate. One day I just had enough and took them off, but then she would "loose" her pacifier in the middle of the night.... Ran across this bumper and it's the best thing I could have found... no more lost pacifiers and most of all I get a good nights rest! And VERY easy to install... RECOMMEND it to everyone... Going for a second one for the mini crib at grandmas!!!

My mom had me order this for the crib at her house, and now I plan to pick one up for myself as well. I would definitely recommend viewing the short YouTube video demonstrating the assembly, as I had difficulty with the directions (even with the pictures) when I first tried to install the bumper. This has been especially helpful to keep my daughter's pacifiers in her crib when she spits them out at night. I used a cushion type bumper in her crib until she was seven months old, and have not used a bumper since. I definitly plan to install one of these breathable bumpers in her crib!

The bumper was straight forward to install. It sags slightly in the middle, but that hasn't been an issue for our little girl. It keeps her arms and legs in the crib, and that's all we need it to do. It's meant to collapse should she try to stand on it, but it's taut enough to stay put when she grabs the top in her sleep.

The only drawback that I've noticed is that the long piece is one slat short from reaching completely around three sides of the crib. Her crib has a solid back, so the shorter bumper isn't needed.

I bought my baby the pottery barn beautiful bumper and she was fine with that until she started moving around... then she wanted to move it and see what was going on outside of the crib and was trying to climb on it... so i took it out immediately... tried no bumper.. her passy always fell out... bought this... perfect. i'm skipping the padded bumper all together with my next baby and just buying this... why spend the extra money? great product. only problem, it took me like 40 min to figure out how to install..
