The Gate-Child 26" High Superyard XT opens easily, so you can have access to your child. It is totally portable with a carrying strap included, so you get maximum convenience along with safety and durability. The weather-resistant Superyard can be used just about anywhere outside, and it's extra tall--26 inches high--so you can use it without worry. It encloses 18-1/2 square feet so your children can have a spacious play area; an extension kit (8663) can be purchased separately to increase the Superyard size to 34.4 square feet. This Superyard is certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association, so you can be confident it's dependable and safe for your kids.

Bought this "Superyard XT" to contain my new Welch Corgi puppy, in the kitchen where there is tile flooring for puppy messes. Purchased yard with extension for extra room. Worked great inside, so I took it outside to keep the baby out of trouble in the back yard. Put it in the shade with water and a toy, and kept a close watch on her and she was happy as a lark. Portability is a wonderful thing. Here it is a year later and now a second puppy is enjoying the same benefits, best investment I've made in a long time. Thanks...

Used this with my twins and it worked great for about 2 years. Then came my 3rd and it only contained him for about 1 1/2 years before he was able to climb out of it. It is conveniently light and flexible, but because of this a child may be able to push it across the floor and flip it over.

we bought this when my daughter started to crawl, to keep her safe from the stairs, electronics, kitchen etc. We have only owned it for a few months and now she just turned 1 year old (last week) and had figured out how to climb the sides. She can make it all the way to the top, and I am worried that she will flip herself over and hurt herself. I wish I would have invested in the more expensive metal brand that they had on this site. We ended up paying for the extension kit too, and now I will either have to get something else or figure out how to modify this one for her safety.

I bought this when my daughter was about 6 months old. It was good at first when she was only crawling around. I attached some foam arms along the top of the gate to help her learn to stand up with help and that was ok. But when she started to walk and her legs got stronger she could easily move the whole gate to go anywhere she wanted. Now she can just pick up the bottom of it and crawl under it.

Our new home ia an open air design, it would have taken hundreds of dollars to gate everything, and then the pets would have limitations, this HUGE yard works perfectly, we can use it as a gate, or a yard in many different shapes!! We can fold it up (there's a handle) and take it with us to picnics. once its up, other little ones love to get into it with our little one! it is also helping her cruise in a safe environment.

with a small apartment, it is a great way to have a safe place for baby to play and I can play in the area with her

only thing that I can improve on this is for it to have one section to open/close for convenience on an adult getting in and out of the area

I even bought one for my parents to have at their home for when we visit

I have an English Mastiff and recently added a Bull Mastiff puppy to our family. The superyard has really come in handy especially during meal time. My English Mastiff can now eat in peace. She gets to enjoy her meal and then the puppy has hers and whatever the English Mastiff has left behind.

We used this around our entertainment center at first and have switched it around to enclose part of our living room. It is surprisingly stable when in the hexagonal shape or something close to it. Our son likes to use the mesh to practice climbing and it has been able to support his weight so far. We are considering purchasing the extension set to allow for a larger play area. We chose this over other gates because the mesh design prevents him from reaching through and touching the electronics. Also, it is less likely he will get stuck in between the bars, as with other gate styles.
