One of my favorite childhood games. My grandchildren had the game and wanted the electronic version. I may have to fight my son who is 29 to allow the kids to play with this one.

was very upset when i opened the box to play with my 7 year old, Again as others have said, poorly made and very annoying to play. the pegs do not stay in and my 7 year old got as frustrated as i did trying to remember where the pegs went when they fell out,and in the end we gave up playing. Why have all the good games i remember from my childhood become so poorly, and cheaply made ?? What was wrong with the good old version?? PLEASE BRING IT BACK !!

I was looking for the game I played as a kid for my 6 year old, for his birthday. He has played it at school and at friends houses and loves it. This is NOT that game. He was so excited when he unwrapped the game but the excitement disappeared upon opening up the game. There is now only one board that stands upright. We made the best of it telling him it was a new design, same game. Again, it is NOT. The game is confusing, he had no idea where to place the pieces as the top and bottom are now numbered differently, not that you can read them anyway. In addition, the pegs fall out and the instructions aren't helpful. We played for maybe 5 mins when he said, Mom can we put this away and play later. I can't say enough what a disappointment the game is. Now I am on a search for the old game, anyone selling theirs?

The honey-combed grid is confusing to understand. The pieces kept falling out and my son couldn't remember where he originally placed them making it very difficult. Now I can not find the original.

This game is terrible. The boats and pegs fall out as you play the game and the new board layout is confusing for the younger ones. Should not have changed the original.

Nice change from the original battle ship game (recover captured soldier, different ship shapes like the "trapazoidal" carrier and tripodal weapons platform)
I like the fact that you can take the card out to see how close you were at the end of the game.

It is a fun game however almost impossible to play. It is extremely difficult to get the pegs to stay in the holes. Each time we put a peg in, the pegs on our opponents side would fall down. It made it hard to track what points we had already hit. It was disappointing and will be looking for a higher quality Battleship game.
