My baby is 10 mos and weighs 23 lbs. I am able to put him and take him out without a problem! i am able to go anywhere without a problem. Even me husband who is 5'8 and 250lbs uses it without a problem!...I highly recommend it!

Started with the original and returned it for this model. This offers more back support which everyone needs after one hour of walking. Worked great with newborn. Just add a rolled burp cloth for neck support. Still using it and loving it.

i love my bjorn! It works perfect with a baby and a newborn who never wants to be put down. Helps me get work done around the house, take the dog for a walk, walks on the beach etc. :)

It did take me a little while to figure out how to use it, but I guess it would've been the same with any carrier. My daughter is 13 months and I still use every once in a while to put het to sleep, it's magical. We also went overseas and it was a great way to carry her and the luggage. The additional back support makes all the difference. My sister has the original one and I'm glad I paid extra for this one. I would definetely buy it again.

My friends who got cheaper similar items WARNED me to just spend the money on a good carrier. This one is great on the back (you have to spend some time playing with it to find what position fits you best, but once you get it it's like magic!). It's easy to adjust, is breathable and really makes things hands free. I've used it for hiking, shopping and doing things around the house and the baby loves the closeness. Don't be intimidated by the bizarre European instructions. Once you get it you GET it. Tighten it down and your back feels great. Baby slides in and out easily. Don't get the cheap version or you'll just wind up buying 2 carriers in the long run.

Not for every baby. my son is 10 month old now, I tryed to carry him in this carrier since he was 3 month. He just hates it!May be other parents had a better experience with this carrier but not us. Too expensive, if you can not use it.

I love this carrier! I was originally intimidated by the price but I am so glad I bought it! It is easy to use, very easy for me to get my 1 month old in and out of it by myself. Very comfortable - no back strain. I use it around the house and out and about. My daughter loves it too! She falls asleep immediately after putting her into it. I think she is calmed by the closeness, and the height of it is perfect for me to kiss her little head while she is in it! My husband loves it too!

I like this item for when babies are smaller. Once they are about 15 pounds, it kills your back. My husband liked it a lot more than me, and our daughter is 7 months and he can still carry her in it, but she does not like being confined like that. If you are going to get a Baby Bjorn this one has more back support than the original, but try to borrow one from a friend or get it used if you can.

Everytime I went to the park or to a Girl Scout meeting with my daughter, I needed to take my 8 month son with me. I found this product so I
bought it thinking it would work good and not be a pain in the butt!! I would definetly NOT recomend this product! It was hard to take on and off, and it hurt your back!

I've used the original and this one is so much better. The back support is a must. My daughter is short so she was facing towards me a lot longer, but she would fall asleep as soon as I put her in it. I am 5 feet, and had no problem with it fitting right. I also have a back problem and with this I could take her for walks without being in a lot of pain. No matter what kind of product you get, you will be in some pain from carrying your baby around so much, but this product gives you the proper support to prevent long term damage. It is not good for your body to carry your baby around on your hips.
