I got this gun as a gift for Christmas and let me tell you it is a joy to play with. It doesn't matter how old you are, there is nothing quite as satisfying as locking and loading a Nerf gun, pulling the trigger, and letting a sucker dart fly at any smooth, flat surface you can find. My favorite is keeping the gun by the TV to shoot celebrities or news people you don't like...LOL!!

It's safe and it's legal!! I shot Barbara Streisand the other week and she still lives another day to make the ears of anyone who listens to her bleed. Fun stuff.

Also since I got the gun as a gift, I've bought quite a few more darts (more stickies and some sonics) and done a little bit of modification on my gun (not recommended but its ok if you have the know how and the right tools.) to make the barrel swing out all the way (as opposed to part way) for easier and quicker reloads and so you can play a safe and fun version of Russian roulette with your buddies if you get bored of just firing at each other.

My cousin and I had a Nerf war about two weeks ago and it was literally a blast!! There were darts everywhere!!!!!

Anyway, this is a great product for the young and young at heart and its a great stress reliever after a hard day at work or school.

Buy two for double the fun whether you play with a friend or just feel like dual wielding them!!!

Surprisingly, this and the Nite-finder-which are both pistols-have the most range of all the N-strike guns. I personally love this gun for its versatility. It is a manual reload, but atleast you can get 6 darts in there as opposed to other guns where you have to load a dart every time you fire. As a collector, this is an important part to any collection, but as a NERFer, this is a good handgun to use in a fight.
I love the distance it offers and the ability to shoot any kind of dart, whether it be suction cup, whistler or clip-action, that is a sweet thing to offer.
It will jam more times than the other guns if the bullets are not loaded completely into the chamber, but again this is still a small amount of the time, so don't let this discourage you.

Your average normal gun. The maverick is an easy gun to use and is compatible with all nerf darts (not discs). The cocking is very simple but a little challenge for those 6 and under. The only bad things about it is how easily the the barrel can get jammed. If you push the bullet in too far it will nit shoot out and if you don't put it in far enough the barrel will not move.

The N-Strike Maverick is good for testing but
for me its not used for a nerf war because
after every dart you have to reload im not
sure if this happend to your blaster but
I pumped it speed because my nerf war was
very speed so its hard to predict so my spring
broke and O didint pump it hard.
