Our stove knobs are very easy to turn and since we have a gas stove as soon as the knob is turned the burner ignites. These work perfectly to keep our curious toddlers from doing that. My twins think it is fun to spin them around so they think they are doing something naughty but I know they are safe. They are easy to open and close and I would just stick them in the dishwasher if they needed washing. One thing- If you have to push the knob in to turn it they might not work because of how they attach. They attach by removing the knob, putting the cover on the post then returning the knob. We had this problem at the grandparents house and ended up just removing the knobs until we used the stove.

I had these on my stove for months, they seem like the right idea at first (although I was surprised they just spin behind the stove knobs, they don't stay in place.) So when my child was just learning to stand on her own, I thought I was covered the first time she stood up and was tall enough to reach the stove knobs. She popped these things right open. It had zero to do with her being supervised (yes i was watching so it's not like I let her continue to actually ignite the stove) and zero to do with her ever having seen me work them before. Upon closer inspection I quickly realized they pop open without any precision or prior knowledge necessary. The only protection these provide is that if you make sure they're turned so that the hinge is on top, you will give yourself an extra 1.5 seconds to stop your child from turning on the gas stove that you wouldn't have had if you put absolutely nothing on the knobs. The fact is, even a 9 month old only needs seconds to spin these things around, grab on, and instinctively pull down toward themselves, and they open right up.

Good but only time will tell how long these holds
About Me Parent of Multiples (Twins etc)
Good and could have been a little more sturdy as sometime my little one pulls them really hard and once in while it may open that's why it could have been a littler more sturdy I don't give 5 to anything unless it stands the test of time.

We have a gas stove and our little one learned how to turn it on. This product works and has solved our very dangerous safety issue.
These work great!
About Me First Time Parent
So far so good been working exactly the way I need them to and very easy for me to open
These stove knob covers are AMAZING!! i defiantly feel so much safer when I'm cooking now! My 2 year old is "upset" because she can't get to the knobs!! Win win for Mommy :)!

I have this product 4/5 stars. It definitely makes me feel safe that baby won't be able to turn on the stove top but my only one complaint although i don't know how they would fix this is that you have to completely take off the whole know any time you want to use the stove in order to turn the stove on. Other than that this is a great product for safety.
Would definitely buy again

Have to have these bad boys because I have a little ninja toddler who apparently thinks he's big enough to try cooking, so far he hasn't noticed that the open!!
It did not fit my stone knobs

About Me Grandparent
Am trying to be proactive in securing dangers that my newly walking grandson can get into. Knob protectors directions were very easy to follow. When on without a problem. My only problem with them is that they are big. Hopefully the heat from oven won't melt them
