I bought this slide today and my 2 1/2 year old LOVES it. She has been playing with it for about 6 hours now. She went down the slide many times, it is a fun ride because it is long and real smooth. Her bum would slide off though, so we put a pillow at the bottom to try to pad the floor because she said it was hurting. She has been putting her animals and little people and cars down the slide and is just having a blast! We have it set up in the living room and it looks nice and is like a dream. So when I put it together, it was basically easy, except I could not snap the ladder into the base that sits on the floor. I tried and tried, but I am just not heavy enough...I am 150 pounds and 5'9, but still am not heavy enough or strong enough to snap it in...my daughter is going down the slide unsnapped, but it is still sturdy. I'll have to have a strong man come over to snap the ladder in for me. Besides that, I highly recommend this slide!!!

This slide is great as far as being sturdy and easy to assemble...however...we have all tile in our home and even with the play mats we found it wasnt so safe for our 22 month old son. He stands on the top of it and its very steep so, if he fell he would be hurt even on grass. We had to exchange it for a smaller climber set.

Assembly requires inserting metal pins through non-existant holes. You will need a drill. Be prepared and allow plenty of time for set-up.

Not difficult to put together at all as some of the other posts mentioned. Hubby did it in no more than 10 mins! The slide is a bit narrow but we have a lil' peanut so it's not a problem for us.

We debated on whether to get the smaller slide for our 1yr old but figured the larger slide was one he could grow into. We are very happy with the purchase. He loves to slide down! The slide itself was easy to assemble (hubby), is durable and we like that it can be used indoors and out. Folds up for storage too!

Great slide; never order online again

the slide is stable and perfect for my adventurous 2 year old- as it is rigged by my husband since the warehouse did not send the brace bar or the hardware. I spoke with customer service who put in an order for the warehouse to e-mail me but I have never received an e-mail. I ordered the slide as a birthday present for my son and wanted to use it at his party. A second customer service rep gave me the option of purchasing a new one directly from Little Tikes and paying overnight delivery out of my own pocket. I am still trying to get the correct parts.
