Bought this for my son's first birthday. My wife was very concerned it was too advanced and he would not be ready.

Well, within minutes of opening the box he was all over me while I was trying to assemble. It was too funny. Unfortunately, that was torture as we had yet to do the first charge of battery.

So, the next day after the first charge and the day of his party he crawled on it. After a few taps of the very user friendly throttle button.. My guy was doing his thing riding around with a giant smile. Made eye contact with my wife and for the first time in a long time :-) dad was right! Can't get him off it now.

This thing is made very well and will take some abuse. It is surely safe speed for a starter machine. He has ridden it cross grass, dirt, pavement and it treks along. Not lightning on grass.. but that is fine. Battery life is great!

Overall, this is a great item with potential if you are starting them young. I would probably shy away if your child is on the 3yr old side of the spectrum as it is a smaller ride. Though, that has yet to stop his 5yr old sister from taking rides on it!(Which it goes fine with her too.. he will be stealing her Escalade Power Wheels sooner than later)

Enjoy it, the look on their faces sold me...(and my wife)

My 2 year old son has had this for a year. He can push it faster than it moves, but he enjoys it. His mommy says they put him on it, & right off, he pushed the red button & was in motion...he even tried to stand on the seat for x-tra "thrills". The only problem is that he is unable to steer yet...but give him a little time, & he will be 100% w/the program! As a "grammy" who loves grandbabies, this was an awesome gift for him!!

We bought this for our son for his 1st birthday. I was nervous it was to big for him but it is PERFECT! He got on it as soon as we put it together (which was easy to do) and learned to press the button a few minutes later. Now any toy with wheels he looks for a button to push on it! We are working on steering on his own but this is so much fun!

Excellent power wheel to start with. My 2 year old son loves it. Less weight, easy to assemble and easy recharging. The only thing we din't like is the height. It may not enough or comfortable after 1 or 2 years.

My. 17 month old son received this quad for Christmas from his grandparents. It was one of his 1st gifts & all I can say is, we had to hide it outside so he'd open more gifts! He loves riding it around! Is very easy to work, though he is still learning how to turn corners- right now he swerves & runs into the wall. So be prepared to assist your child around while they're riding, until they learn turns.
I'm excited for the snow to melt & be able to let him ride outside. So far we like this product & recommend it

Here we have an overpriced plastic battery operated toy.. and no reverse... My grandson prefers his trik to hid...Wish I had bought one that had better features... this just doesn't cut it.

I bought this quad for my 1 year old son and he loves it! It was easy to assemble and very adorable. He hoped right on and hasn't stopped riding it since. The only downfall is that on our hard wood floor when he first presses the button the back tires have trouble getting started as it is too smooth I guess, but once they catch it goes find after that, and works great on the carpet. I would definitely purchase again. There is snow on the ground so I haven't had a chance to take it outside yet, but I'm sure it will do just great.
