This is about twice the size I guessed it would be on the website photo! I was PLEASANTLY surprised. My daughter got it for her 4th birthday. 2 water wheels in it, but the smaller one is not turning, no matter how much water in the tub we dumped in at a time. Gotta get hubby to check that out. Seems like it may be meant to come apart to sift sand at bottom, but We'll have to investigate further. Seems sturdy and like it will last a long time. EXTREMELY happy with it. You cannot beat the price while it's on sale! Will do better in the tub if you have a LOW WATER LEVEL!

This is a good idea, in theory. But after two or three shovels full of sand, the gears stopped spinning. Something that is made to be used with sand shouldn't stop working after being filled with sand....

My kids (ages 1 and 2) enjoy this in the water and the sand. They love the shovel that comes with it and fight over it regularly. The colors are different than pictured, but that isn't a big deal to me. It appears sturdy (for plastic) and works well. It only clogs when the kids put wet sand or dirt chunks in the funnel. Look forward to using it in the bathtub... without the sand and dirt. :)

I got this product in-store for a grandson who enjoyed it so much that I ordered one for my own sandbox. This one has a sticker on it with a price of a dollar less than I paid and it doesn't seem to turn as easily as the one I had purchased previously. Perhaps it is because my sand is not as new. Yes it is still a fun toy.

It was much taller than I expected. Too high reach when on top of our water table. I paid [$] online and it arrived with a sticker that said [$] Should have bought it in the store. On the plus side, it works fine and I like the shovel and rake attached on the side.
