This is a great product for use all year. I have used it not only during the winter time when it is chilly but also during the summer when the air conditioning is cranked up. It fits easily over my baby's sleepwear. The reversed zipper is great because it does not irritate or pinch her face and neck. And since it opens from the bottom it is very easy to change diapers without having to remove or even fully unzip the garment.

My babies love the SleepSack. We used the swaddling feature on the newborn one for our preemie twins which helped them sleep comfortably (and stopped them from scratching their faces), and then when our kids were over 3 months we switched to the regular SleepSack. The fleece was just right for winter while the cotton was perfect for Fall and Summer. I don't recommend the fancy, super-soft version because the cotton lining separates from the fuzzy exterior causing the whole thing to wrinkle and bulge. The only thing keeping this product from rating a 5 with us is that three of the zippers out of our eleven SleepSacks separated or got stuck. We haven't tried the version with feet for toddlers, but switched to blankets and footed sleepers instead. Overall, a great product... hold onto your receipt just in case the zipper blows.

the sac is great to prevent SIDS in most cases, that is why i ordered it, however, it is way too thin and the material collects lint too easily. i have seen sacs with much better quality, although the price was substantially higher too. Its good for warmer weather, OR you can just put a long sleeve onsie underneath and make it warmer that way. It is very soft and cuddly although the actual product looks nothing like the picture. the material seems different and the color is way off.

I don't know what we would have done otherwise for our little one, since blankets don't work as she moves more in her sleep than while awake! It's not bulky, either, which might have made it harder to move and or feel awkward.

I feel so much safer with my daughter sleeping in a wearable blanket rather than a loose blanket, and something about putting her in it seems to signal "bedtime" to her which is great because she goes down easier and quicker. That being said, the top to bottom zipper design was actually the main selling point to me since most other brands do not have this. However, I have found that it doesn't really matter either way. If I have to change a diaper in the middle of the night, my daughter wakes up anyway. If this is the only reason why this brand is a bit higher price than the other brands, it's not that big of a deal. Still a great product overall though!

My daughter was a warm natured baby, but our house would get cold at night, and we didnt want to leave covers over her in the bed so early on, so we bought this, and her temperature was much better regulated, she seems comfortable and happy, and now its a bedtime ritual that she puts on her "baby sack" Would definitely suggest this, and plan to keep it for any future kids of our own!~

This sleep sack is the best on the market! The zipper starts at the top of the sack making it super easy to unzip baby for diaper changes in the middle of the night. Great product - gives peace of mind knowing baby is safe in the crib!
