We love Mexican Train! It's fun for all ages. We play once a week. The case is great for frequent use and trips to friends' houses for game night! Although the directions are a little vague, we just play according to our interpretation. Who is to say that it is right or wrong? We have met so mant people with so many different interpretations of the game and it is fun to learn their way of playing too.

First off, the directions are horrible! Even with a graduate degree, we had to look on the internet to find anything decent. The quality of construction is poor, with some chipped on purchase and paint smears. The inner lining of the case comes out too easily. It does not have a "doubles marker," even though it is included in the instructions. Also, it says that it requires AAA batteries- it doesn't. It has three hearing aid type batteries that are included.On the flip side, the case is great. Our kids loved the hub with the train sounds. The dominos are color coded, although some are a little too close, like yellow and orange, so they are easy to match up. With some modifications to play, our four year old is able to play as well.Quick note: don't throw away the plastic insert! You need it to keep the dominos in place.
