The belt worked great for about the 1st 2 weeks postpardum. I'm normally a sz M-L and needed a sz. S belt. I felt like it really brought my belly in at first but after the initial baby weight was gone it just got bunched up and caught in my clothes.

This belt's size is way too big, I usually wear a small size, and this belt is large enough to wrap my still pregnant belly in it. My friend wears a clothing size Large, and she bought a M-L belt - and postpartum it was way too big for her. Totally useless.

This has a velcro closure that's difficult to line up. So, it causes wrinkles when you don't do it straight. It also fits very uncomfortably. It rolls up immediately. So if you have any hips then forget it. Plus, it doesn't support the lower part of your belly where you need it the most.

I used this for my maternity leave - 6 weeks. Even the small was too big by the end of it. I had my mom alter it so that more fabric was taken in and it could be pulled tighter.

I have a problem with the velcro material catching on some clothes and irritating my skin. I wish there was just a better design for it. I also get so sweaty when I wear it!

I bought this item right before going into labor and im glad because I used it right away. Now the reason for the four stars. When I first put it on i was only able to put it on the first velcro, by week two i was on the second and last velcro, now it fits fine but i would love make it tighter! I do feel it helped and it was nice not to feel my stomach so loose. So I did love this product, it did what its inted for they just need to put more velcro.

I started wearing this as soon as I returned home from the hospital. It relieved pain better than percocet and helped me walk after my c/s. It also took pressure off the incision and reduced the scar. I've heard some complaints that it will theoretically slow/reduce recovery of abdominal muscles, but for the abdominal muscles to heal properly, they need to be properly realigned rather than hang out like they do after c/s. The negatives: it will still bunch up from the bottom if you make it really tight. also small/med size is large if you are really petite. After just a few days my abdomen shrunk so much it didn't work - so I had the velcro straps removed and reattached further in on the belt. With the tailoring I was able to wear it for 6 wks

I bought this product after my first pregnancy 5 years ago and now, when I have my second child, I bought it again! The first time around I was able to get rid of the post-baby belly in about 2 weeks. I'm hoping that this time it's going to be the same experience. The belt not only holds in your post-baby belly, but also helps if your back hurts. I really recommend it to anyone out there.

I bought this for support after my c-section and it didn't do the trick. I bought it (in-store) in L/XL size and though I had to stretch it to put it around me, it still somehow seemed loose. It has a big velcro section that doesn't flex with you and makes a "crinkly" sound when you try to bend it. The velcro is bulky and you can see where the closure is under your clothes. I gave it two stars because it did seem to help a bit with support at first but it always rode up eventually, pushing the top of the band and the stiff velcro closure right under my breasts. This means that the band is no longer giving the support in the area I need it most which is down lower.
If you don't get the velcro lined up just right it will either have a big bulky wrinkle where you've bunched up the closure or you'll get the scratchy side of the velcro catching on stuff.

During my pregnancy my doctor told me I had to get a support band because I was carrying very low and I bought the Mini Cradle elastic support that closes with bra-hook type closure. It was much less noticable under my clothes, still adjustable, and had tighter elastic giving it better support. I tried wearing the Mini Cradle after my surgery and it was the right type of support but the band wasn't wide enough, which is why I bought the Medela.
I would NOT recommend this product. I would have returned it but I threw away the packaging so I couldn't. I say go to the store, take one out of the package and try it on if you still consider buying this, then make the decision.

I got this after my first child almost 5 years ago. It was recommended by my postpartum nurse in the hospital to help ease the pain I experienced recovering from a c-section. It was wonderful. I could climb stairs, hold my daughter, get up out of bed, take walks, etc. and never took one bit of pain medication. It took the weight from the extra skin off of my incision so I could heal properly. I am now purchasing it AGAIN for my upcoming c-section with our next child. I would recommend and have recommended this to any mother who delivers via section!!!

I used this little belt with each of my pregnancies and couldn't have lived without it! With the first pregnancy it mostly provided a little back support, but now with twins for babies 4 and 5, I'm mostly using it for tummy support. I did have to buy a new one with each pregnancy since I wear it daily, but it has been well worth my [$].
