buy this for storage and talking your treasured calico critters to grandma's house. if you buy this in lieu of a house you will be disappointed. it is a great way to rotate your furnishings and families with your doll house as the dollhouses tend to be small. great sturdy case slides right under the bed and very cute.

This was a holiday gift for my 3 yr old daughter and she LOVES it! It is light weight enough for her to carry, and easy enough for her use by herself.

I also personally love it because it is sturdy, though it is a thick paper-cardboard-material. It is unique because it appears to be a little house; it is perfect for pretend!

My daughter received this for Christmas to hold a family of 4, two baby twins, two kids with bikes, and another kid with mini doll houses. It has lots of room to store items, and easy enough for my daughter to use (she is 4 yrs old.) The only reason this item didn't get 5 stars from me is simply due to the price. No matter where you buy this, it's just a pricey line of toys. The little people and accessories are cute as can be, but shouldn't cost so much. This case is made of heavy cardboard, and I like that in a nostalgic way... very adoreable!!!

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter's birthday and she loves it. It's easy to carry, set up and put away. We just don't have the space for a large bulky, heavy dollhouse and we love the calico families so this was the perfect "house" for her. I also like that it can travel anywhere and the little accessories have a place too.

I purchased this for my 3yr olds bday. My 3 & 5yr olds enjoy playing with it and setting it up as a house. It holds all their calico critters. I do not know if it is worth the $ though. In general, I think that the Calico Critters are over priced

This is nothing special. Just cardboard with a shiny finish. Not terribly sturdy or attractive. It's sized well to tote critters and some accessories...I like the idea of storage drawers...however, it is way overpriced for what you get. I was suprised because we've liked the other critter houses/accessories.
