my 8 yr old enjoys the projects that come to life with this...keeping the pieces together is somewhat challenging with 3 little sisters! worth the $...esp. if your child doesn't particularly care for toys...

My 7 year old son likes to take things apart and put things together. He likes knowing how things work. We bought this for him several years ago for Christmas and he still plays with it. There are over 100 different experiments with colorful and easy to follow directions.

Bought this set for my son's 6th birthday. He has been fascinated with electricity since he was two.This was probably the best present he has ever received. He puts together his own inventions. It really teaches the young mind a lot about how the world of electricity in every day life affects us. A few parts did not work when we opened the set. However upon calling the company I have never been more satisfied. You speak to a live person immediately. Very courteous. [...].I would recommened this and all snap circuits sets to any young scientist in the making.

My 9 yr old daughter received this for Christmas, she's totally into Science and this is a great learning toy. My daughter has already been exposed to this set and knew just what to do with all those pieces. The experiments in the booklet are easy to follow and complete. She will play with this for long periods of time. There are a decent amount of pieces and experiments for this kit and it is reasonably priced. Love it!
