My parents bought this for my 2 1/2 year old son for Christmas and they were very excited about it. Well, it's still in the box in my closet. We haven't been able to get the markers for it yet or the chalk. I can't believe Crayola would not include a couple. They included those flimsy magnets that were immediatly thrown away. Even when you "snap" the bins in place, they don't stay on. The clipboards will not hold more than one sheet of paper so you have to keep putting up new ones. I hadn't tried the chalkboard yet and just read about how you have to "season" it. Are you kidding??? It is ridiculous to have to do so much extra work & purchase extra items for this product. I can't even take it back because I don't want to hurt my parents feelings. Unbelievable.

My two little boys love this easel; they got it on Christmas and haven't stopped playing with it since. They got over 60 presents that day but this one is the one that we can say WON the TOY RACE. The only con it has, it's that it comes with no crayons, markers or any paper; it's just the art easel. No paint or anything else. I got the utensils at toysrus for 13.99 and the paint and paper for around 5.99 each, you can also get the dry markers for around 4.99 a pack of 4. Once you add all of those things the cost does go up at least $25 plus tax. But it's well worth it, I have a 2 year old and 3 year old and they truly enjoy this Easel.

This is a great easel aside for it doesn't come with chalk or dry erase markers. My 21 months old loves this toys. She loves the marker and magnet side. This was her favorite christmas toy and we got a great deal at the actual store. I would recommend this to any parent whose child loves to write and draw. Its great for learning time also.

This was a Christmas present to my 4 year old daughter. The dry erase board is great however, the chalk on the chalkboard skips when writting. We followed the manufactures directions on preparing the chalkboard prior to use.

I purchased this item because my granddaughter has a similar one in her pre-school class. The teacher recommended one with these work surfaces. Knowing the "Age Recommendation" sometimes does not fit the child's development, I bought it for my 2-year-old granddaughter based on her loving the one at school. However the letters and numbers are way too small for a 2-year-old to use safely. We had to put them away and buy larger magnetic letters. I purchased this at the on-line store. It later went on sale at the local store. Should have waited.

Sturdy easel with good-size storage cups. However, the chalkboard isn't great quality. The chalk only makes a faint mark on it, and is very hard to get off when you erase it. Also, the clips don't hold paper on very well.

Just gave this to my daughter from Santa. She loves it. Great storage bins, chalkboard wipes clean easily (some chalkboards aren't that great) and the dry erase marker side is great. The clips are good but with a busy 3 year old, the paper is easily pulled down but, that's more us than the board. It has clips and trays on both sides which I like. It came with some magnetic letters but we added chalk, crayons (for the paper we clip on), and more magnetic letters. It's great :D
