I'm very pleased with this night stand! I was able to paint it the colors I wanted with ease after 150 grit sand paper and primer. My husband is very handy and was able to put this night table together with-out directions (It would have been easier if the night table came with directions though) It is very sturdy and the perfect height for our daughter to use. She will be able to use this night table for years to come. When considering to purchase this item, keep in mind it has the same quality as [...] to it. If your looking for something a bit more on the "high-end" spectrum this would not be the product for you, however it is a very nice product! The stand is made from plywood or particle bored and the drawers have thick card bored inserts which after put together would hold up to maybe 5lbs spread out before bowing. Don't be under the impression that you can use these drawers as "Junk Drawers" for gobs and gobs of stuff.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
