      If you think "nerf" means a very light, easily squished foam, as I did when I sent for these, look around some more. These are very hard and compact, not at all the super soft material I was expecting. (I guess the term "ballistic balls" might have clued me in.) I don't even know what the "blaster pack" is that these are a refill for - should have done more homework before purchasing! They're a nice size, so even though they're not what I need, I'll keep them for my students to juggle.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
