This product was horrible. I got it thinking it would help me potty train my son while we were traveling and instead he almost fell in the toilet and has made him even more scared of using the potty. Horrible product

tried it on our toilet and it would just slip and slide. no way a toddler could sit on this.

Not only was my child scared on this thing, I was afraid for her. The product instructions say to use it only on toilet seats that are closed (not horseshoe shape). You cannot find a toilet like that in ANY public bathrooms. As some of the other reviews say, you need more than two hands to operate and it is still not easy or safe. Do NOT buy this product.

I HATE THIS SEAT! I really wish I would have read the reviews before buying! What a piece of junk! There is no way to get the seat to stay on the toilet and then get your child onto it. You can put your child on it, IF SOMEONE ELSE HOLDS IT IN PLACE! Once my daughter was on it I felt the need to hold her because the seat felt like it was gonna collapse! NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!

Great idea, poor execution. The seat was so flimsy that my son was too scared to use it. He would have wide eyes and grip my neck each time we attempted to use it. Much better to learn to do without in public places.

There is nothing good about this product. It doesn't fit on any public restroom seats and it doesn't even stay on the seat so it is almost impossible to get your child on the toilet before the thing falls off. My daughter has can't ever gone to the bathroom when using this because she is so uncomfortable on it. I am afraid that she is going to fall in the toilet!

I ordered another seat from a magazine and it is way better. Don't even bother with this one. It is totally useless!!!

the concept of this product is great. it lacks good design. I chose to go with the cheaper one for the reason it looked like the name brand and was considerably cheaper. the "hinges" that allow it to fold and infold are made of a rubbery sort of plastic that wont stay open. You must have 2 free hands. one to hold it on the toilet, the other to help your child. I went back and bought the more expensive one.

I bought this for when we went out in public and this is perfect example of a time that I should have spent more money! It does not fit well on public toilets and it does not stay open. You need at least 3 hands, one to hold the seat down and two to put your child on the seat. My little girl was terrified and I think it may have scarred her from trying to use public toilets! Get one that snaps open instead!

There is nothing good that can be said about this potty seat. It does not stay opened when placed on a toliet seat (and I have tried many public restrooms)and collapses at the slightest movement. My 2 year-old son is terrified of it, because he has almost fallen in several times while using it. I have found one trick to using it: I place my knee on one side of it while it is in position on the toliet and CAREFULLY place my son on top of it. Heaven forbid if he squirms just a little! Please spend the extra $$$ and buy something worthwhile that won't terrify your child.
