Save your money and your kids mental state of mind! I bought this today because my kid went on the potty for the first time today and we needed to do some shopping. He went 4 times at home and I placed him on this at the store. He stopped going the minute the seat started to slide into toilet. Thank god I had ahold of him. Tried it again at another store...no his scared to death of the thing. I couldn't get him to go to bathroom at home. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a better day without this thing. I will be returning tomorrow for a refund. Should have read the comments before purchasing.

I bought this one because it wouldn't pinch my son. My husband used the kind with the little hinges wrong once and it terrified my son after. this one sucks and just folds up as soon as you gt it in place. Not practical... I can't hold it in place and open and get my son onto the toilet. HATE IT!

This product was horrible. I got it thinking it would help me potty train my son while we were traveling and instead he almost fell in the toilet and has made him even more scared of using the potty. Horrible product

Not only was my child scared on this thing, I was afraid for her. The product instructions say to use it only on toilet seats that are closed (not horseshoe shape). You cannot find a toilet like that in ANY public bathrooms. As some of the other reviews say, you need more than two hands to operate and it is still not easy or safe. Do NOT buy this product.

I HATE THIS SEAT! I really wish I would have read the reviews before buying! What a piece of junk! There is no way to get the seat to stay on the toilet and then get your child onto it. You can put your child on it, IF SOMEONE ELSE HOLDS IT IN PLACE! Once my daughter was on it I felt the need to hold her because the seat felt like it was gonna collapse! NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!

Great idea, poor execution. The seat was so flimsy that my son was too scared to use it. He would have wide eyes and grip my neck each time we attempted to use it. Much better to learn to do without in public places.

There is nothing good about this product. It doesn't fit on any public restroom seats and it doesn't even stay on the seat so it is almost impossible to get your child on the toilet before the thing falls off. My daughter has can't ever gone to the bathroom when using this because she is so uncomfortable on it. I am afraid that she is going to fall in the toilet!

I ordered another seat from a magazine and it is way better. Don't even bother with this one. It is totally useless!!!

the concept of this product is great. it lacks good design. I chose to go with the cheaper one for the reason it looked like the name brand and was considerably cheaper. the "hinges" that allow it to fold and infold are made of a rubbery sort of plastic that wont stay open. You must have 2 free hands. one to hold it on the toilet, the other to help your child. I went back and bought the more expensive one.
