They seem to be of a good quality - we bought them for our daughter (who is well below the suggested age range) who is always trying to help Daddy and Mommie with projects. Our tools are dangerous for her, so now she has her own and she is thrilled! She sat for a long time and fiddled with them all when she got them, and now we can give her the special tool box when we are working on household projects. Great line of toys for little ones!
