Looked great when we first got it. Not terrible to put together. The large poles started to rust after a year of use. Now, 2 years later they are fully rusted. In the heat of summer the plastic flexes so it's unstable for the kids to play. The openings at the top of the fort are very large and concern me. I have to stay right by the kids as they play. The rope ladder broke a year later due to rot. They are made out of wood rods.
Really a wooden play set for half the price is a much better route. If we had to do it again, we'd go with all wood. Sturdier, safer, and can be sealed for water.

Bought this exact set 3 years ago. One year in the large metal poles started to rust. During the heat, the plastic on the fort flexes so it's not a stable surface for holding onto or standing on. Many large openings with no protection from falling. Not so ideal for younger kids.

We bought this set for our grandaughters 3 years ago. They are now 6 and 2 and they still love it. It requires no maintenance and and it has held up really good. The only thing I changed was to a soft swing instead of the one that it comes with because it is easier for them. I do not regret buying it. It was no that hard to assemble. My husband did it all by himself.

We've had this swingset for 2 years and it's been great. My kids love the sandbox, the fort and the swings. There's little to no maintanance but, if I were buying this new, I would put some sort of clear coat on the wooden ladder rungs because they are the only things showing any kind of wear (fade and paint peel). Otherwise it looks brand new and it's been a great set and my kids play on it everyday (mine are ages 2-7).

We bought this playset from Toys R Us for [$] when our son was 3...he's now 7. Overall, it's been a fun playset for him, but over time the platform of the fort is showing signs of give, perhaps it's been the cold Minnesota winters. The swing set seat is hard plastic and not very stable for children less than 40 lbs...it can easily flip over. I would recommend buying a malleable saddle seat if possible. My son likes it b/c "plastic can't give you splinters!" Great life so far, but I wouldn't re-sell to anyone...for fear it wouldn't hold up properly. Side rope...recommend supervision for kids 3 and under. Slide heats up in sun.

Kids love it. Easy to assembly and move around but also sturdy when used. Do not require any meintnance!!! Best buy around.

I got this set for my son when he was 2 and now he is 5. He still plays on it, but I wonder if it will be sturdy enough for him much longer. He gets into the fort part and the plastic bows out a little. I had to replace the rope ladder because the wooden rungs became brittle and broke. To be honest this set is a lot of money for a few years. I'm thinking I probably should have gotten a wooden set because I think it would have lasted longer.

We bought this swingset three years ago when my boys were 3 and 4.They are now 6 and 7 and still love this set.I was worried they would out grow it but they still play on it every day!They now have a two year old sister who is also starting to enjoy it.It has so far really held up.Would definately recommend it!

My father bought this for my kids & when it arrived I was very disappointed. They had played on another LT swing set that was very sturdy & I loved it, so we picked one out for our kids. The fort part is made of very thin material, especially when compared to other LT items. It wobbles every time my kids climb on it. I guess it would be ok for kids under 3 or 4 but if they get any heavier than say, 50 lbs. they will be too heavy to really play on it. Too much money for that short of a play life.
