All of the reviews for lack of absorabancy are because people don't know the difference between an insert and a liner. Liners are used to PROTECT DIAPERS not as an insert replacement. Inserts are for absorbancy. That is why these are so inexpensive they are not made for absorbing a whole pee or poo just as an extra barrier to keep your diapers looking nice or to protect them from diaper creams.

This product wasn't quite what I hoped for, and here's why. I'm using the BumGenius 4.0 and Elemental cloth diapers. The width of these diaper liners is significantly less than the width of the cloth diapers, which means that a significant part of the diaper still gets soiled/stained.

I also noticed that the diaper liners have a tendency to bunch up because they are on the thick side. These diaper liners are thicker/more absorbent than some other reusable liners that I have, but my goal isn't to make the diapers more absorbent like some of the other reviwers(BumGenius diapers are plenty absorbent)...I wanted a thin liner that can catch most of the staining and spare the (more expensive) diapers.

Mainly, I am disappointed with the width of the diaper liners. Maybe they work fine with Kushies diapers but for the BumGenius diapers, the liners are not wide enough.

Comments about Kushies Baby Infant/Toddler Diaper Liners - 20 Pack:

I had originally bought the Charlie banana diapers with the Charlie banana insert, But that brand is so expensive I decided to go with these other liners As an in between or a filler extra piece for the liners. They work good so far I do have to use two or three to one of Charlie bananas inserts. But overall for the price I haven't had any leaky diapers, too bad anyway. One major Pro is that they are thin so you can use them for light absorbancy or heavy absorbancy by using two or three together.

These were thinner than I though they would be. (I am comparing them to gDiaper inserts.) I use them as doublers with the gDiaper system. Usually I put two of these liners in addition to one gDiaper cloth insert at bedtime.

Comments about Kushies Baby Infant/Toddler Diaper Liners - 20 Pack:

This product is not at all what I expected. The liners are very thin and not very absorbant. I am not sure what they are supposed to be used for unless you layer 5 or so at a time. I liked the contour and read the reviews but it seems like the reviews must have been for some other product.

I am using these for the gDiapers system. They work well for me. They are thinner than the gDiapers cloth inserts, but they fit the diapers perfectly (I am using the large ones.) They make perfect inserts by themselves or as doublers. I would check the diaper fairly often if used by themselves with the gDiapers.

I was a little skeptical about this but they are great they hold up well I use them as liners, and also stack like 3 to make an insert or doubler they are so useful to me I also use them as breast pads I just fold it and stuff it works better than the real breast pads about the stains I hang them outside in the sun to make the stains disappear and that usually does the trick.

I've been using cloth diapers for 5 years now!..i've used it with my now 5 yr old boy, and now with my 2 yr old twins!...i use AIO bumgenius diapers & i use kushies liners on top the diaper. I really prefer to use this instead of buying "disposable flushable liners". These also act as a protection from stainpoop on those expensive bumgenius diapers. I DON'T recommend using these as inserts, unless you use 5-6 of these. These liners are Liners, not inserts. These liners are the washable version as those flushable diaper liners. I love using these more eco friendly and protects my high invested AIO BUMgenius diapers!

Well, they are not even half the thickness expected, Id have to place about 5 together to be the thickness of an actual diaper liner, Ill just use them inside the diapers as protection against poopies I guess.

I purchased these liners for my daughter's diapers when I was pregnant with her. She is now 20 months old and we are still using them. They are very thin and do little to add extra absorbency (I use more than one cloth insert when we need the absorbency). What they are fantastic for is adding a layer between the mess and the insert. I use them anytime we need to use rash cream, as the cream can cause repelling issues with the inserts. They are still in great shape and hold up well to all the washing.
