This is the softest, best quality doll you can buy for a one year old. My daughter is now 2.5 yrs and still loves this doll and sleeps with it every night. The doll looks as perfect as it did the day we got it although it has been washed many times.

My daugher loves this doll! It is definately made to be a baby's babydoll. It is soft all over. The plastic for the face and hands are soft enough that I feel comfortable with her sleeping with it. There are no loose parts or extra pieces to worry about, the hat and bib are connected. Best of all, the doll smells like vanilla, in a good sweet way - not overpowering at all. And it's machine washable!

I'm pleased with how it washes up in the washing machine!

I like being able to easy clean (disinfect) my daughter's doll...so, important when they are this little their dolls get dirty from being played with. It can be difficult to find a doll that is machine washable. I was pleased when I discovered this one.

Nice size for a little girl's 1st doll.

The company who makes this, Corolle, has an informative website about this doll with more info.
