Decent hutch for the price with a nice natural finish. Unfortunately, with the hutch on top of the dresser, the changing table becomes so small that you have to be extra, extra careful. Had I realized the changing table would have been that small, I probably would not have ordered it. In a month or so (our daughter is 12 months), she will only be able to fit diagonally, which is partly the case now. I have read other reviews that said that the hutch was unstable and we found that to be true, but if you install the brackets that come with the hutch, it's much more stable. In 2-3 years, we will probably replace it with better quality furniture anyway. We had difficulty finding natural furniture to match the natural crib we bought a year ago, so we wanted something relatively inexpensive to last for just a few years. For that, it seems to be serving the purpose.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

The directions are clear and pretty easy but I would still suggest putting it together with someone. Its too hard to push the shelves together and screw everything in tight by yourself. Also when you push the bolts in make sure you just push them in don't screw them in. When you put the backs on make sure you have enough room on each side so your screws don't hang off or crack the wood.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

OK, I ordered both the hutch and the tower [...]. I was able to move the 50lb box to the nursery by myself and I'm 30 weeks prego. All the parts and pieces were present. The wood all looked good despite the rough shape of the box. I put it together in 1 hour and 15 minutes. It was super easy. The directions were all pictures yet very clear. It's a little lighter than the picture shows and that's good because it matches perfectly with the DaVinci Emily Crib in Natural. Tomorrow I'll be starting on the tower which was in a 100 lb. box so I thought I better wait for the hubby. I highly recommend this hutch so far. I think we'll get lots of years out of it and for the money, I can't beat it. And I shopped around for weeks waiting for online sales, free shipping stuff, etc.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
