Love this product. My son moved to his big boy bed at 1.5 years due to new boy coming to the family. He slept in the bed with no issues the 1st night. He is able to crawl into his bed by himself and loves going to bed with no issues. Only down fall is not being able to lay down with him to read stories, but think Super Nanny would advise against it anyway. We have both boys in 1 room and when baby boy gets older, we will purchase 2nd one so both will have the bed. We LOVE it! Very easy to put together.

We used this right out of the box as a twin bed for our 3 year old -- PERFECT!! He slept in it first night no problem! Had boards for the twin mattress, which you MUST have in order to have a twin mattress -- don't know why the previous bad review didn't get the boards cause that's the only way to hold up the mattress!! VERY durable and comfortable. Our son loves it!!! Highly recommmend!

This is a great bed. Our 2yr old is happy to have what we called the big boy bed and we like that it can fit a crib mattress and later we can put a twin mattress. My husband was able to put it together easily. One note we used the stickers on both sides of the bed instead of following the picture in the manual which had the stickers mostly on one side. Our son is able to climb in and out of it. I love that it has the sides to the car so that he can not roll out of the bed. Room to put a couple of his favorite small stuffed toys on the side while he is on the small mattress.

I'm not sure why others are having support problems. The support boards come w/ the car frame to use w/ the crib mattress and the twin mattress. Very sturdy.

we have now had this bed for a year and love it its really a cool looking bed i have 2 kids that have jumped on this bed stood on it have had numerous friends over on it and its still in perfect condition

I purchased this bed for my three year old. It was very easy to assemble. On the first day of putting it together for him, he marched right into his room and slept on it. Great product!

GREAT BED. WE HAD IT FOR 3YEARS NOW,JUST CONVERTED TO A TWIN NOW THAT OUR SON IS 6. THE ONLY THING YOU HAVE TO DO WHEN CONVERTING IS GO TO [...]AND GET SOME 2'X 4' PLYWOOD TO FILL IN THE VOID WHERE THE CRIB MATRESS CAME OUT.

This was very easy to assemble and was very study once together. My soon-to-be 2 yr old son absolutely loved it. Slept in it the 1st night with no problems. It is a great product that I would highly recommend to anyone!

I am in the process of buying a new bed for my son because when we converted this into a twin bed the mattress falls down where there is nothing underneith it there is just that blue thing that comes with it and that doesn't hold the twin mattress... I have to keep pulling the mattress up so his head doesn't fall with teh mattress. Not a safe product for kids...
