I purchased two of these laptops for my four-year-old daughter and niece. We were expecting something fun, user-friendly, and educational. What a disappointment! It was extremely hard for them to use...very little (to no) instruction given for the various activities. My daughter was lost! I have since returned both laptops, and will search for something better. Very disappointing Christmas gifts. :-(

The only drawback I have for this laptop is the screen is not lit. Meaning when you play with it, there's no back light to the screen. But other than that...it has TONS of activities to keep my son busy...and he loves that it looks like a real laptop. Comes with a cute mouse too.

This comment is for Sportdad06. Sorry to tell you this, but This laptop it a TOY! It is not made to hookup to a printer. It's for kids. The laptop has built-in games for children to play and PRETEND it's a real laptop. If you want one that hooks up to a printer, I think Toys-R-Us has one on sale for $349.99 what did you expect when you spent 29.99?

I bought this for my son's second birthday so that he could have his very own "laptop" to play on and leave my husband's alone. He easily finds the green ON/OFF button and happily taps fingers across the keys and clicks the mouse like a big boy, which is basically the main function I wanted from it, so I haven't really any comments about the software/functionality. He likes to watch and try to catch the lights that flash below the keyboard. He and daddy now sit side-by-side in bed and "compute" (sometimes my they play more with the kiddie laptop than the real one, ha ha).
