We asked for a toy box for Christmas and looked at some less expensive one's. Finally we decided this was the one we wanted and recceived it. We are so glad this is the one we chose. It is very high quality, very cute and boyish without being too babyish. It will last through the years. It is a high quality hard wood and has a little chalk board area on the front of it which is fun. The only thing I'd say is that the inside of it isn't huge, but it is a good size.

My 1 year old could NOT wait for me to get his toybox put together. It was easy to assemble. My son loves to climb on the bench. I was pleased to see that the lid doesn't close at all by itself. It must be actively closed. Great safety feature!

This toy box was the perfect finishing touch for my son's room. It was easy to assemble and I like how the lid will not slam shut and smash little fingers. We bought this for my son 2 years ago and it is very sturdy. It has really held up to his dare devil tendencies (he likes to stand on the arm rests). It is worth every penny.
