I saw this item and even though the ratings were not very good I bought it anyways because, I wanted something that was clear and easy to install and of course something that will stay in place, unlike the pads that slip and slide on the railings. I LOVE IT! I bought this items when he was about 8 or 9 months and it's worked great! I installed it when he was young enough to not really notice it so he thinks it's part of his crib, therefore he doesn't pick at it or anything. He is now a year and a half years old and I have had no problems with it at all. Basically if you install it early enough and you put your weight into it when you put it on the railing you should have no problems at all with it, and it should last a long time.

We have been very pleased with this product. Instructions were easy to follow and it held up for 2 years. It did pull up the veneer the littlest bit where my daughter had knawed on the rail quite a bit. Otherwise it pulled off very easily, without incident.

Love the way this product looks on my crib. I was a little concerned after a few other reviews but decided to try it anyway. It works great! Just follow directions folks. I have had absolutely no issues with this item and my son loves it. I put it on when my son was 3 months old.

Idid exactly what it said, clean it with alcohol first and apply. It came up so I did the hairdrier too and it continued to come unsealed

This product is terrible. My daughter had chewed through it and picked most of it off by the end of the week. It also peeled the white finish off of the crib. Save yourself some trouble and get the fabric covers.

My daughter was able to bite it and peel up parts of the plastic rail cover. It won't stick back to the rail now either.

We purchased this about a month ago and it works great! My son actually pulls up to chew on it and so far hasn't gotten it off yet. It went on very easily on our Storkcraft crib. NO problems and no more eating the varnish:)

[...] It must work for some babies, but lasted all of two days in our house. My son had been injuring himself on his crib rail, so I thought this would be a great solution. He did love the gummi texture. So much so that he pulled it right off the crib. It can only be reattached so many times before it's pretty much useless. For us, that was about two days after the initial application.

We bought this for our 1 yr old, as he was chewing on the crib and the paint was getting in his mouth. It worked at first, but then it realy didn't stick well. After a couple months it was not sticking at all. I bought like 3 packs...what a waste of money!
The concept is great for wide rail cribs like our, but it just doesn't stick!
Oh, and my friend that told me about this product also had problems with it sticking!
