My son got this as a christmas gift. It is cool during the day but at night the planets are only green and orange which is kind of disapoiting. My son asked "Where's the son?"

I love this product. It was easy to set up, glows brightly and it comes with plenty of extra stars. I have read a lot that people are disappointed that it doesn't come with a sun, which is true, but I just set up the planets around the light in the room and used that as the sun. Overall, my three year old son loves his space room and wants everyone to come see the "glow in the dark action" and impresses people with his knowledge of all the planet names now.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love this item, but it's missing the sun. It doesn't make since to have a diagram showing which order the planets are positioned (to hang), but there is no sun to hang the planets around. I couldn't even find information to buy an extra. This is also supposed to be educational for my son...with no SUN. They look very nice at night, and combine them with the glow in the dark stickers and extra stars...it is very cool. I would also like to buy more stickers, but can't find any to purchase extra. The additional purchase of the matching stars look okay, but they don't hang very well.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
