We bought this product for our oldest daughter almost 4 years ago, when she was 7. It was great... easy for her to learn. It has held up very well, keeping it's shape. Other hula-hoops will "kink" easily if they are pulled or stepped on. Not this one. We are returning to the toy store today to purchase 2 more... one for my younger daughter (age 7) who learned to hula-hoop using the wave hoop, and one to replace the older daughter's old one since the colored plastic is beginning to wear off (not bad considering how much it has been used over the past 4 years). The "old" one is still in circulation, being given to the little brother. Having 3 will be nice with 3 kids! GREAT toy for approx. $6 if you ask me!

I got one of these hoops when I was younger (6 or 7) and still use it till this day. The shifting weight of the water in the hoop makes it easier to keep up and I have learnt all kinds of cool tricks using this product. Sadly the contact on the outside of the hoop (which gives it it's colour) has been wearing thin however that is totally understandable as I have owned the hoop for over 6 years! Over all the hoola hoop, wave hoop in particular, is great fun and will last years of play :)

My Granddaughter wanted a Hula Hoop. The only resemblance to a Hula Hoop, was that it was round. The product description online was no help at all. It's heavy and difficult to maneuver, not only for a child, but an adult. If the description on the hoop and online, explained the difference between this and a regular one, andwhat the pupose of the "wave action" was, I would not have ordered it. Since I returned it and got a regular one!

I picked this up as a "order online, pick up in store" to try and save time. After waiting about 5 minutes once they disappeared into the back to retrieve he item, I found the display a returned to see how much longer it takes. 5 more minutes and they came out with the hula hoop. 10 minutes time wasted. That is the store experience, now the hula hoop...

The hula hoop came with my name on a sticker attached for pick up. This is for a 7 year old girl so the sparkling pink was the obvious choice. Once my daughter got it she wanted that name sticker gone. Since it appeared to be attached to a plastic wrapping over the pink plastic wrapping that gave the hula hoop its color, I said go for it. In removing the wrinkly, clear plastic overwrap the pink color was removed as well. Now I have a plain, black hula hoop and a disappointed daughter.

i got 2 Hula hoops for my daughter for Christmas. I've noticed that many Hula hoops are hard to keep up and these are no exception. But she's used them in other ways and is pleased with them.

Perfect classic toy. My kids always pick up their Hula Hoops and play for long periods of time. Even mommy gets in on the fun :)
