Received this as a giftt and we use it daily. You don't have to use all the poducts at once as stted in other reviews! We've bathed my DD daily since she was 6 weeks old (every 3 days before that since hr cord fell off). She is now 3 months old and Idon't anticipate needing to buy bath products for another couple months. We are not even close to running out of stuff in here! We started with the all in one shampoo and body wash, once that used up we used just the shampoo and the lavender body wash. The Q-tips are great b/c thy have the safety stop on it that prevents you from sticking it too far into their ear. I haven't used the powder or oil yet but like that we have it on hand in case it's needed. However, as another reviewer stated, you may want to be sure your baby doesn't have uber sensitive skin and in't allergic to any products.

It has one of each product you might need after your baby is born. I was a first time mother when I got it, but that doesn't meant I didn't have common sense. Used little soap on baby and I mixed drops of the oil with the soap to gently wash my baby's hair, that way his scalp didn't dry out and was not as flakie. The powder lasted me a long time since I didn't use it for the first few months until the summer, and then I just sprinkled a bit in my hands away from the baby's face and then gently applied to his body. I didn't use the Desitin until after he was over a year old and he got a small rash, and eventually had to throw it away after it expired ( I used A&D ointment after every diaper change to prevent a rash and it worked like a charm). The swabs are very nice too because the design doesn't let you go further than what you should. Every child is different and just because your child had sensitivities doesn't mean the product is bad.

I love this bath set and the little caddy it comes in. The one I got did not include a bath toy but that is not a big deal. I like that the bottles are all good sizes. I use the baby wash to bathe my son and I use the shampoo on his hair. I use the lotion both for him and myself. The Desitin is great so I have not had to use the powder on him but it is cornstarch which is good and I have used it on myself. I only use the baby oil to moisten band aids so I can remove them but it's a small bottle so it's good to have in case I need it.

Nice gift set. You probably won't use the baby oil though and never use the cornstarch powder on the baby or near the baby...will give baby asthma. But all other products are useful.

I recently registered for this item for a second time in two years. The first time I used this product was two years ago and I recieved it as a shower gift...what a great item to have, it has one of every johnsons baby products you need for bath time including rash cream & a bath toy...To all those negative reviews i must say that just because your child has sensitive skin and unfortunately suffered a break out from using this product that dosent mean that j & j baby toiletries are bad!

I received this gift set for my baby shower. Although my son is now two and the shampoos, lotions and oils have all been used up, we still use the little basket it come with to keep his bath toys in next to the tub. It's so great because it has little drain holes at the bottom of the basket, and his toys can drain properly and nothing gets moldy.

I loved everything about this gift set!

The only things I use for my newborn from this kit are the baby wash, diaper rash creme and baby lotion. The talc, oil, & shampoo aren't necessary.
