        My son and I love this. Got it for his 2nd birthday and he wasn't in to it yet. I would basically make tall creations and he would knock them down but not now. He plays with them almost every day, using them for all different things. He decided to make a shed for his Thomas Trains. Really entertaining. Going to purchasae more pieces today, I love how other it is magnetic because we can add other magnectic toys to it such as his train at the very top.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          These are awesome. My mom got my 8 year old son the smaller size and he loves them, my almost 2 year old was always playing with them-but could put the entire ball in her mouth, so we got this set for her and she loves them. Great for older children too, in my daycare we give the kids each a long one and have them run around the room seeing what's magnetic. Well worth the money!!!

          Magnets are weak, have to come up with separate storage. Save your money, sticks and rocks are cheaper and about as much fun.

          I highly recommend these magnetic building blockes. They have turned out to be a lot of fun for my son but for mommy & Daddy As well.Great. The only down side is we had another small set by another company i believe and the round balls were much better. They were stronger and held the blocks together well.
