This game was purchased for my 7 year old son. He likes to play all of the Zelda games and thinks this one might be the best, yet. My kids and I started playing Zelda games a few years ago when Phantom Hourglass came out. I really enjoy playing the Zelda games myself, but only the ones on DS because that's the only way I have a chance to play them. There are a lot of different things to do on these games, so kids don't get bored quickly. My 15 year old son used to play them a lot too, but now he just plays once in a while. The Zelda games are too easy for him. My daughters, ages 18 and 11, never really liked to play these games very often. So, this might just be a favorite for younger boys, and maybe moms. Also, playing the game from beginning to end does take some time. This is a great game for people who like games that keep going and going.

The game is okay. It's pretty easy. Being a 21-year old gamer with a long history of playing video games, this one seemed built only for kids. I ripped through the story in a couple days and felt somewhat cheated. The graphics were good and the characters we're okay.

Comments about Nintendo 1001272 The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for Nintendo 3DS:
This is my first game to try my New Nintendo 3DS.I'm a long time zelda games fan so with my new console I want a great game and get exactly what I want in this. The 3D is great, nevermind it is Amazing. The game is full of great scenarios that resembles The Legend Of Zelda 3: A Link to the past on the SNES, so is a really familiar enviroment with tons of new things to explore and enjoy.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

A game we can both play!
Great game to sit down and kill time. It hasn't lost any of the excitement or fun that was in previous zelda games.

the product was great. it was wrapped well in the plastic. had to use a knife to take off the plastic. all the instructions were inside the case as well as the game.

Solid Zelda Title That Tries New Things
from San Jose, CA
If you have fond memories of the SNES classic, A Link to the Past, then nostalgia will go a long way with this game. Nintendo has actually made an effort to shake up the standard Zelda formula, introducing new characters and mechanics. These are hit and miss, but nothing that hurts the game experience too much and the attempt is appreciated. Some might be turned off by the extremely easy gameplay, but it does open the game up to players of all ages -- a bonus for parents looking for a good game for the kids.

Classic Zelda gameplay with #D Gameplay and extra side quests that will keep you busy for some time. Highly recommended as a Zelda fan since the 1980's.

I bought this game for my friend's son's birthday. It was same price at other stores, but luckily I had a rewards coupon that helped reduce the price. He hasn't played it yet, since his birthday will not be another two weeks. I hope the game meets his expectations!
