My husband had no trouble setting up the crib, but suggests that you don't tighten anything until you're sure everything is in the correct position.

The crib seems sturdy, it's attractive, and it's fantastically small!

We got the DaVinci Crescent 50 coil mattress to go along with it (5.5" thick) and Koala Baby portable crib sheets.

The crib is solid and sturdy, assembles easily. However, both of my children outgrew it long before 1 year, forget about the 24 months that the manufacturer mentions. My first was crowded in it at 6m and she was a 50th %tile baby, so we anyways ended up buying a full size crib at 6m. My 2nd baby is already very tight in it @ 8m, and he's in the 25th %tile.
If you have a small apartment it's perfect but it won't last long. Buy a mini co-sleeper or pack 'n play and save the money for the big crib you will need eventually.

Comments about Million Dollar Baby DaVinci Emily Convertible Mini Crib - Cherry:

I agree with other reviews, it does come with scratches and nicks. I was prepared for it, so it did not put me off. Also, it is soft wood. The labels on the side of the bed are VERY hard to remove. Still has some glue I could not remove. I scratched it slightly using only my fingernails. I do like the levels of adjustment, since I am so short. There are a total of 4 levels. Easy for my husband to put together. Arrived in 3 days!!!

Comments about Million Dollar Baby DaVinci Emily Convertible Mini Crib - Cherry:

Husband put this together in about an hour & we were mesmerized w/ the finished product. I chose the espresso finish to match the othet furniture in our bedroom & it is just lovely. Great quality! We did away w the pad it comes w/, no use since we purchased the davinci 5" mattress to go w it. People confuse that 1" pad w/ a mattress when it clearly states mattress NOT included/sold separately.

Comments about Million Dollar Baby DaVinci Emily Convertible Mini Crib - Cherry:

Sharing a room with the new baby, it's a great size and though smaller then a normal crib this is a great way to save space. It's very sturdy and I'm sure the baby will be using it for awhile until she can pull herself up and walk. Then we will switch to a toddler bed. This crib was also at a great price, and is very beautiful. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. Arrived on time as well. I bought a more pricey mattress as well. But very worth it. Mattress was also a great price too. The only down fall is that sheets are a different size then the standard size. But no big deal I found the ones I needed. Overall I am very happy and satisfied with my purchase. I will recommend to a friend in the future.

Comments about Million Dollar Baby DaVinci Emily Convertible Mini Crib - Cherry:

We are expecting and my mom just had this crib purchased/sent to us. It arrived on time (quickly < 1 week) during the winter and was not damaged. I had read the mattress would come in plastic only but there were 2 layers and the outer layer was very thick/worked well to protect it. We do have a covered porch on which it was left so that could help. I'm 7 months along and put it together by myself without problems. The mattress that comes with it is way too thin but I got the matching 5" mattress and it seems great. Again, will have to see how it is in practice. I love the cherry and it's smaller size fits well into our smaller nursery/house.

      Long-lasting crib

Comments about Million Dollar Baby DaVinci Emily Convertible Mini Crib - Cherry:

We bought this crib, since we lived in a small apartment and also wanted to have our daughter in our room for her first 6 months.
We love this crib -- it wasn't too difficult to put together and was sturdy and easily adjustable when we needed to lower the mattress.
Our daughter slept in it until she was 22 months at which point she was ready for a twin mattress on the floor, but she would have fit in it much longer.
We then loaned it to a friend who used it for over a year, and we are getting ready to set it up for our second right now -- and we may use it as a twin with the conversion kit someday.
You won't regret buying this crib -- it saves space, looks good, and is safe for your little one.

We have a 2 bedroom condo in the city and a 3 year old. When we found out I am pregnant, we did research into how we could best fit 2 in a room. Well, this is perfect until we can get into a bigger space. Not sure how long a little one can stay in it, but I anticipate at least a year and a half... Hopefully, longer. Quality is what I'd expect for the price- some little marks, but sturdy.

I loved this product, at first i was a little worried we didnt get the right color but once it arrived it was perfect! However yes the mattress it comes with is way too small/thin so we purchased a mattress for a toddler bed but smaller and big enough to fit the mini crib. I have bought regular toddler size fitted sheets but my husband and i have agreed if it's too big we can easily tuck it away under the mattress. I would recommend this crib to anyone who is working with a small area and does what a huge normal size crib, my shipping and delivery was awesome and things arrived in perfect condition and expected as told.(my purchase was not through babiesrus) It took my husband about an hour to put the crib together with NO problem easy set up and a no brainer!

This is crib fits our needs perfectly. It's small and fits in perfectly in our apt which has very limited space. It was quite easy to assemble and it's very adorable! The only con I have is it's difficult to find bedding, esp. cute bedding. I've found the best place to buy bedding for a mini crib is babybedding.com It's a little pricey but everything is made in the USA so I deem it worth the price!

Comments about Million Dollar Baby DaVinci Emily Convertible Mini Crib - Cherry:

We purchased this crib as a replacement for our son's crib that was recalled. Since he no longer is in a crib, this was a great option for a 'big boy' bed. It was especially nice that it converted to a twin-size as his room would be quite crowded with a full-size which most cribs convert to.
The cherry is a very beautiful color and not too red at all. It is however a softer wood which caused us to be a bit more cautious during assembly, but I could see this being a bigger issue with a teething baby/toddler - fortunately we are beyond that stage.
The directions included do not show how to complete the conversion, but we purchased the wooden side rails from another retailer and the rails do include the directions plus additional hardware.
