              This is horrendous. I would never buy this for a child of any age. This has absolutely nothing to do with "Kitty becoming a princess". The supporting characters are totally weird and scary and say things like "this party is so STUPID" within the first few seconds of the first show. Why any one would make this with young minds in mind is a mystery.

              Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

                We bought this movie for our daughter's 3rd birthday. She loves hello kitty and loves this movie! Some of the reviews mentioned kids finding the movie scary and though our daughter is often frightened by small things in shows, she loves this movie and doesn't find it scary at all. We love it and will definitely be buying more Hello Kitty movies!

                  My 8 yr old is totally into anything Hello Kitty and had expressed an intrest in this DVD. However when I had placed the order online, the fine print of the DVD box wasnt too clear. Now that we have the DVD here with us, it reads" Ages 2-5". LOL. Despite the age difference she still enjoyed it and said she may watch it one more time in the future.LOL... IF YOU HAVE A CHILD BETWEENI 2-5yrs OF AGE,I THINK THIS DVD WOULD BE PERFECT!! It was just a lesson learned for me to double check the fine print for future purchases.

                  Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

                    This movie scared my 3 year old. Unlike the Hello Kitty's Paradise videos, which are cutely animated and are educational (teach manners as well as including learning games), these are drawn more grown-up and contain characters that are "evil" and try to hurt Kitty. My daughter refuses to watch the video and when we are picking out videos will pick that one up and say, "I can't like this Hello Kitty mama, it scares me," (in her 3 year old language). The video is recommended here for ages 3-4, but I would say more like 6 years old.

                    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
