I bought this wrap because i love baby wearing, and wanted something that was safe for the baby's hips. I also need a wrap because I'm a full time teacher and student, and after feedings GERD babies need to be upright for atleast 30 minutes. So I do my hw at the counter while wearing him. I was originally interested in the ergobaby, but not interested in the price. This is practically the same thing as the ergo, just more comfortable and with straps instead of buckles. Also, you can use this wrap at any age. Currently my 8 week old is using it, but it also fits my 2.5
Year old.

The sash mei tei carrier has the same function as a regular carrier just without the buckles which is great because I don't have to worry my baby falling out what I like most about the carrier is it's very comfortable for myself and the baby my baby likes to be carried all day with a four yr. old at home I need my hands to be free my main dislike it the sash is extremely long it drags on the floor when I'm putting I on a great feature is the detachable hood to protect the baby for wind sun anything overall for the price it's a good compromise when it comes to a carrier affordable and has the same functionality as the more expensive ones

Comments about Infantino 1001315 Infantino Sash Mei Tai Baby Carrier - Dots:

This is the second carrier that I've purchased. My baby hated the first one as he over heated quickly. I can't spend $100 plus on a carrier. I thought about the moby, but it's complicated and I need to be able to put this on myself.

I found success with the Mei Tai carrier. It's a wrap that's not complicated. Even my husband uses it while he plays computer games so the baby is snuggled and close.

I'm a larger sized woman, I wish the ties were a little bit longer so that I could tie it in the back. Maybe they should offer an option that has longer ties so the slimmer moms out there wouldn't have the extra length. (It's hard to get a product to fit everyone when we're all so differently shaped) However it works just fine being tied in the front.

I do wish there was a pocket on the front that I could put things in.

Comments about Infantino 1001315 Infantino Sash Mei Tai Baby Carrier - Dots:

I use the carrier when we're out at the mall or shopping in General. I love having my baby close to me in addition to having my hands free to check items out if needed. Additionally, it keeps my baby warm without having to add additional layers in the cold MI winter. The only drawback is the sash - over time it becomes a little loose. The knots seem to loosen up slightly and i need to secure everything again. Also, it's a little difficult getting a tight knot with the hip straps and i always need someone to hold the first knot before tying the second one as it seems to slip and loosen a little. The great thing about this product is that the wrap distributes the weight of my baby and I don't feel my back or shoulders hurting over time.
Overall a great product to purchase. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

This product is great when a fussy baby requires constant physical touch! Easy to use and quick to strap baby in. I have used once or twice and enjoy the ability to use it different ways as well as the ability to use as they grow! I appreciate the fact that the straps are thick and comfortable and its easy to use by yourself. Instructions were also very helpful and it only takes one person to settle baby in. Also, the flexibility to adjust straps as needed to make them tighter or looser is also great.

Wanted to use carrier for walking/shopping. I had a hard time placing 3 mo old properly. Instructions say to spread babies legs to straddle around your front. My babies legs did not do that. She was more comfortable knees together but that meant I had to tie wrap under her butt instead of her back like instructions say to. I felt it was very sound and secure though. Baby slept for 2 hours while I walked.

My husband and I used this on our recent trip to Disney World with our 12 month daughter and we loved it! It was very comfortable and it was the only one that could fit my husband and myself comfortably. Our daughter fell asleep many times in it and it was nice when we couldn't use the stroller and in the airplane.

This carrier is functionally acceptable and it's quite stylish. I love that I can just throw it in the wash whenever needed. My only issue is the sash ties, they are a bit difficult to tie when holding a wiggly baby. We also use the Gemini, as it is structurally similar, just with buckles instead of ties.

Comments about Infantino 1001315 Infantino Sash Mei Tai Baby Carrier - Dots:

I use this Mei Tai carrier on most of the morning walks I take with my son. The mei tai comes with the instructions for the basic carry sewn right into it. You can carry your baby 3 ways: front, hip and back. The straps help relieve pressure on your shoulders, they do not dig in like the average traditional carrier. The price point is good and you can wear a child up to 36lbs so I can see myself getting a lot of use for it. It would be nice if there were more designs available, but the gray dot pattern is neutral enough. The minimum weight is 8lbs, so your newborn may not be able to use this until later on.

Comments about Infantino 1001315 Infantino Sash Mei Tai Baby Carrier - Dots:

I loved wearing the carrier. I have arthritis in my clavical and I worried about having a carrier that applied too much pressure to the area. This carrier never aggravated the arthritis! It was quite difficult to put on alone, specifically because my son was so wiggly and has very strong legs. I think once my son gains full head control we will be using it more often with his legs hanging out of the carrier. This is not a reflection of the product but rather because my son doesn't like having his legs scrunched up. It would have been great when he was a tiny newborn but since he's long for his age (almost 25" at 3 mos)and doesn't have full head control yet, we don't use it much.
