When my daughter goes to grap one of my remotes I just trade her now and she is satisfied. Where it's small it is easy to pack around and keeps her occupied.

I agree with an earlier post...I don't like the fact that Oscar the Grouch says "get lost". But, My son doesn't press the #3 over and over again so I rarely hear it.
Cute toy with funny sounds that make my son laugh but don't buy it if you think it's going to take the fascination away from the real remote, because that won't work.
Funny story...My son drools A LOT and puts all of his toys in his mouth. When we first got the toy, he was chewing on the eyes. When I hit the button to make the eyes blink, the eyelids flung a large amount of drool right back into my face. So beware of hidden drool caught in between the eye lids!

MY SON IS ALWAYS TAKING OUR REMOTE. SO WHEN WE SAW THIS IN THE STORE WE BOUGHT IT FOR HIM. I thought this would keep my 15 month old daughter away from the real remote....but it doesn't she knows what she wants. She does have fun with this though and it seems to be really durable. She looks to drop thing or throw them.

My son loves to use our tv remote so we bought him this one, he really enjoyes it. He would rather have the "real remote" but this comes in a good second place. He lost his first one. I figure we will find it when he goes to college. We just had to replace it.

The eyes get worn off from being scraped on the floor(that's why I gave it a 4 star), but other that it is great. The eyes blink and make a cute noise. Fun toy!

I loved the whole idea of this toy and so did my son. Everything was going great until Christmas morning he pushed the number 3 on it and over and over it said "Get Lost". Now i know that Oscar the Grouch is mean like that but for a toy that is suppose to be used at an age where you might not be able to fully explain that they shouldnt use those words is unacceptable. My son is only 8 months so he is absorbing everything right now. This is kjust my opinion, other wise I love the product.

This is a fantastic toy, our son loves the real remotes for our various electronic devices. This was a great substitute for it, whenever he grabs the remote now we swap it for his toy one and there is no problems! He is just as content and loves that the buttons on this one speak to him! It says the numbers, sings and speaks in the sesame street character voices.

Our son always wants the real television remote. This is close in shape and size and makes fun noises. It has helped a lot. Our son is fascinated with the blinking eyes.
It was supposed to be a Christmas present but we've already given it to him.

My son loves to push buttons. I should have gotten this remote BEFORE he put our real TV remote into a cup of apple juice! Now our TV is stuck on DVD mode. Anyway, he thinks some of the sounds are hilarious. but the eye balls at the top scarred him so I got a piece of masking tape and taped the button in so that the eyes stayed closed! haha
