My husband put this together last night in under an hour (fyi - he's a Wall St guy, not a handyman). There was no cursing and he found it easy to assemble. At any rate, we think it looks great! I bought neutral colored open canvas bins from West Elm that fit perfectly. Baby isn't here yet, but so far so good. One other tip, I'm going to purchase a contoured changing pad in lieu of the flat vinyl one it came with. No biggie though. I have some pretty changing pad covers that I'm putting over it anyway. If you're interested in something w/ shelves vs the dresser look, this changing table is the way to go!

I liked the look of this changing table as well as the affordable price. Before buying, I read the reviews and concluded that I would buy it anyway even though the reviews were mixed. (A lot were about the difficulty of putting the table together but I figured that many things are hard to put together in this world anyway) Once I opened the box, I took out one of the side pieces and could see small cracks in it as well as black marks (the wood was chipped or scratched). I figured I would ignore it and moved on. I started putting the pieces together and it wasn't that hard to put together at first. But, then it became a nightmare. The thin side pieces of wood have holes on one end of them where the bolt is supposed to be screwed into (it is supposed to be screwed into a piece of metal that is to hold the end part of the bolt). However, in some pieces the bolts fell out and the wood pieces would no longer stay in! (Sorry if my explanation is confusing) This would make the table unstable as there would be little to no support on some ends. I found it to be very troubling especially due to the fact that one of the problem areas was with the side that was actually supposed to hold the top shelf where the baby is to be placed. Also, when screwing in the side pieces, I started to hear the wood cracking even though they weren't even secured yet. Furthermore, there were a couple of big cracks in the wood pieces. I later noticed that the second end piece was missing and never included in the box.Maybe it was just my bad luck but this purchase was a huge disappointment and disaster. I would say just spend the extra money and purchase something of better quality and save yourself the frustration. If you have better luck though, I would suggest having two people put this together instead of one as it would be much easier if you have one person hold pieces while someone else screws the bolts in.

Comments about Badger Basket Company Badger Basket Sleigh Changing Table - White:
I like the changing table. The only complaint I have about it is that I think the price is a little too high for something so simple.

Nice changing table

I spent hours looking at different changing tables and reading customer reviews. I wanted something simple with shelves and no drawers. This is a nice, sturdy table for the price. My parents bought it for us and assembled it so can't comment on that, but it doesn't wobble or anything like that. The 2 shelves are thin but hold the diapers, wipes, etc. just fine. I am very happy with and would recommend this product.

My daughter is 3 months old and so we use this changing table multiple times throughout the day. Brooklyn loves her changing table; it's one of her favorite places to lay, kick, and play!PROS: Pretty, crisp white. Sturdy, fits my cloth storage bins and much more.CONS: Difficult to assemble. Changing pad is thin and cheap; budget for upgraded changing pad and cover. Shelves a bit flimsy but functional.
Fell a apart multiple times.
It was wobbly and the middle shelf kept falling down. I think we're going to have to throw it away because it keeps breaking. Very unhappy with it.

I purchased this product in 2005 when my daughter was born. Assembly wasn't that bad. It is sturdy and has endured my daughter climbing up and down it. The only loss I had was to the lowest shelve all her books made the shelve fall out of place. I will be using this same changing table in a couple of months when our second child arrives. Hopefully, the lowest shelve won't be problem to fix.
This changing table was not worth the price. [...] when assembled it wobbles. My husband is a carpenter and no matter what we try we cannot get it to level out. Also, the shelves are hollow particle board which gives it less durability. I was disappointed in this product.
Nice Changing Table

The table comes with great, straight foward instructions; however, it is best to assemble with two people. Use caution when screwing in the screws, if you are not careful you will find it difficult to assemble. Other than that, it looks great and feels very sturdy!
