I love this stroller. I was so glad when my son was too big for his Graco Snugride "stroller frame" - don't get me wrong I loved the Graco stroller frame but even with its minimal design it took up a fair amount of trunk space.

The Maclaren was my top choice because:
It's light weight, folds up into a small size - perfect for the buss/e-train/metro and my Honda Civic (I can put it in the front passenger seat if I need the whole trunk for something else), durable (I've used it for over two years and walked ~4 miles a day with it), extremely maneuverable, nice and narrow for maneuvering through isle in stores, tall handles so I don't have to bend over (I'm ~6') and I don't kick the rear wheels, storage space is small but big enough for my diaper bag.

If you don't need to carry your whole house with you when your out and about this is a great choice. If you need to have a cup holder/snack tray and carry a huge purse and massive diaper bag this is NOT FOR YOU! Know your space needs and BUY ACCORDINGLY! Don't blame the product for not being "the Hummer" of strollers - it isn't suppose to be.

My one complaint is that the latch is hard for my mother to open, she doesn't have strong hands, its never been a problem for me.

When I first saw this stroller I wanted it. I didn't end up buying it until my son was a year old. I had a combi stroller and it was difficult to maneuver. I sold my combi and i went to buy this stroller. I love it. Its so easy to maneuver, very lightweight, and the canopy works so good it protects my son from the sun. My son wasn't a big fan of the combi stroller. he would always cry when i would put him in there. The first time i took him out in the Maclaren Stroller he was so comfortable. No crying and he fell asleep which for my son is a big thing because in the combi he would never fall asleep and would always get very fuzzy. The basket is a good size. i like the color its great for boys and girls. the only reason why i didn't give it 5 stars is because i would of liked for it to have a cup holder for parents as well for the child. other than that its perfect!!!! i would definetly but this stroller again. in fact when my child grows out of it i want to have another baby just to use this stroller again. thats how much i love it.

I received the Quest as a "hand-me-down" from my aunt who had the stroller for 5 years of rough-&-tough adventures with her daughter and now I use it for my 1 year-old. I have been through 5 other strollers (Chicco Trevi, Tako Natalie, two $20 umbrella, and the worst was a Graco Glider). Of all these the Maclaren is most similar to the Chicco Trevi, which was my favorite. The only downsides of the Quest is that it tips over very easily yet there is not much storage room for a mid-size diaper bag and to recline the seat, you must use two hands. The best part about this stroller is that it is STRONG and will probably outlast any other stroller. The Quest is great for parents who plan to pass it down to other children. The seat is removable and can be machine washable. Someone who likes the Quest may also like Combi strollers (they are even more lightweight) or Chicco Trevi which does not tip over and has a similar design but more features than the Quest.

I've had mine for 2 years now and it's been through 3 kids and still looks new. Despite the recall (which I think the company handled really well), I'd still buy another. I like the fact that the canopy bends forward at the hinges so the shade covers the baby completely in the sun. I like the recline. It's made well. It's not for rough terrain, but I'm not hiking in the woods very often with my kid. Really the only con is the brake. You have to really kick it hard to get it to engage with the back wheels. Plus, I love all the Maclaren accessories you can buy, like the seat liners, to spruce it up and make it your own. It is costly, but for me, it was worth it.

At first everything was fine and I was very delighted about the lightweight. The wheel broke down within a year. We couldn't turn the front wheel. It was probably just from bumping into somebody's foot,which could happen to any stroller everyday. [...]

Pros
- Well build and light!
- Easy to fold and open
- Easy to maneuver
- Great for short errand
- suitable for 6 months above

Cons
- For a 2007 model, it still cost over $200.. too costly.. there are many stroller that is much cheaper yet still does the job
- Basket is too small
- reclining mechanism is abit fragile
- Tip over when bag are hang at the handle!
- No cup holder
- Small canopy

** Yes, I would still recommend to anyone who have children that are much older..

I did not want a big bulky infant stroller that had to be replaced in 3 months so I looked into the lightweight strollers. We received this before my daughter was born (she is now 1) and it has worked wonderfully! The stroller reclines to a comfy position for an infant. I intially used this position plus a head positioner then slowly moved the incline up until my daughter was able to control her head/torso. We found this stroller to be lightweight, very comfortable for all stages of infancy, easy to open/fold, very easy to steer with one-hand and my diaper bag fits in the mesh basket underneath. One minor issue is the size of the mesh basket/storage. When the seat is inclined down all the way, it doesn't leave a lot of room for your bag. And because it is a lightweight stroller, hanging a heavy bag on the handles can cause the stroller to tip. I found this to only be an issue during the first few months. After that, my daughter was sitting up fine and didn't need the incline, so my bag stowed well.

I LOVE THIS STROLLERRRRRRR! This is the best umbrella stroller i have EVER tried or seen. Its VERY durable, reclines, is lightweight, folds compactly, has a window to view baby, glides smoothly, folds easily, and opens quickly. I would reccomend this stroller to anyone and everyone. I know this stroller will last for multiple children and will still be in great condition YEARS from now!

I really like this stroller.It is very light weight and easy to use.My son loves it and it looks very comfortable.I bought it at BAbiesRUs and it did come with a rain cover......but Maclaren also sells it on their web-site for [$].I recently called them to register my stroller for the life time warranty and they were very helpful and nice.
