The Britax Boulevard Convertible Car Seat in Shannon features True Side Impact Protection with deep side walls and head support to provide advanced protection in side impact collisions. The easy-turn knob quickly adjusts the headrest and harness height without having to uninstall the seat. Britax Boulevard Convertible Car Seat in Shannon has a higher forward-facing weight capacity allows children to remain harnessed up to 65 pounds. The tangle-free, five-point harness ensures a snug and secure fit. The Britax Boulevard Convertible Car Seat is designed with the premium push-button LATCH connectors to provide a quick, simple and tight installation. Unique features include the patented Versa-Tether for energy management, and rear- and forward-facing recline for child comfort and a body pillow for positioning. My daughter got this when she was to long for the infant carrier. We use this all the time as its in the main family car. I love how it sapports her head from infancy til now. It is a bit difficult to clean but over all I love it. She has no problem looking out the windows as some may think. It is well worth the money as my daughter is 2 now and still has plenty of use in this car seat.

My daughter has been in this since she was 6 months old (she is now 13 months) & I love it. I use the LATCH and the seat can't even budge :) My only con is I think itis hard to clean.

This is my fourth Britax purchase, and I love the improvements they've made since I bought the first car seat. The Boulevard is easy to adjust, and it can be done without taking it out of the car! Definitely a plus.

The only complaint I have is attaching the belt between her legs. But the safety, ease of installing/moving from one car to another, reputation, and cuteness make up for that. It really is a great pattern for little girls.

Everyday use for my 6 month old.
I love the fact that she can use it for a long time. I understand that the safety standards are higher where these are made and that probably contributes to the higher prices but something should be done to make these available to people with lower incomes, their babies should be just as safe. This carseat is quite expensive.

The only real complaint I have so far is that in my daughters other seat she can turn her head and see out the window but with the super large headrest in this one she can't and she isn't happy about that. I know that this probably makes it safer but it is irritating to her and I. She is always trying to pull forward so she can see.

That aside it is a well made seat and I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I did a lot of research before buying a car seat for our princess. My husband is a firefighter and I am a trauma nurse, so SAFETY is of upmost importance to us. We love the added feature of the side impact protection, as the highest amount of collisons involve side passenger damage. I would not put my daughter in anything else! The buckles do not tangle and she sleeps comfortably in this car seat. It is a bigger car seat, so test it out at the store. They will be glad to help you test fit it into your backseat. The Shannon fabric is also the cutest (it is a lot lighter than the image shown on the website)! We also have the brownstone in my husband's car, it matches his interior well and doesn't leave his car feeling overly girly. We may have spend a lot of $$$ purchasing two Britax Boulevards, but we drive our princess around with added piece of mind!

I have had this car seat for about 2 years and highly recommend it. The side impact head cushions offer such a safety security that other seats don't; it is worth every penny. We have a Graco car seat in my husband's car and you can easily see that you get what you pay for. The Britax is far superior. Everything on this seat works wonderfully. My daughter did once vomit in this seat on the way to the doctor's offer and it was a complete mess. It took a while to take the cover off, but I was able to and I did wash it in the washing machine and air dried it. It occurred during winter so I had to air dry indoors and it took about 3 days to fully dry. It came out good as new!
