The BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Active has the same excellent features as the companys other best selling carriers with greater support for your back and shoulders. BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Active is designed for you to carry your child more comfortably for longer periods of time. The ergonomically designed padded shoulder straps work together with the built-in lumbar support to direct the baby's weight away from your shoulders, reducing strain and providing comfortable support for your back and to distribute weight evenly. Use the scale on the label to adjust the sliding buckle to your baby's height. Easy adjustments are all made from the front, allowing you to put baby in the carrier and adjust the fit and headrest. The front also opens completely so you can remove a sleeping baby without waking him/her. The BABYBJORN Baby Carrier Active provides excellent support for your baby's back and head, and helps keep baby's legs and arms in a physiologically correct position. The carrier also has adjustable head support for an individual fit and can be folded down so your child can face forward. Accommodates babies from 8to26 lbs.

Great support, easy to put on once you get the hang of it. A bit hot for CA temps at times for those long walks, but the increased support is worth it. Use it for any shopping trips, walks, and to get a bit of house work done. Our baby prefers this over her stroller. would highly recommend

I used the original carrier previously and found that I ended up with a sore back once the baby reached over 12 lbs. I was convinced this was the answer to my problems, but I felt no difference with this one. Plus, it is bulkier and you end up with all these crazy straps dangling off you! Don't bother getting this one, stick to the original or try a different brand...

I received this carrier as a shower gift and was excited to use it. Firstly, I found it rather complicated to figure out and adjust properly. Secondly, it puts strain on my back that I was not expecting from an expensive carrier. Thirdly, when my baby is front-facing, the fold-over flap doesn't stay down and comes up in front of her face. My husband tried out the carrier and also found it hard on his back. I'm looking to trade it in for another, more ergonamic carrier. I will give it credit for being strong and
nice-looking, but that's as much praise as I can conjure up.

I have a 5 week old girl. My husband wasn't comfortable wearing the Moby Wrap so we go this for him. It seems okay, but our little girl doesn't seem to like it as much as the Moby Wrap so she ends up strapped to me most of the time. One thing that was wrong: the newborn leg fastener is way too tightly sewn to make for easy removal of the bjorn. I finally had to cut a few stitches just so I didn't have to fight it every time I needed to take the bjorn off. That might have been a manufacturing problem, though, specific to my bjorn. Hopefully not all of them are like that.

I love this carrier! After trying a lot of different ones out at Babies R Us store, this one worked best for me. It offers support to the baby that a lot of other carriers dont, it has long fabric straps that fit any sized mom or dad, the straps are also fabric unlike other models that have thin nylon straps that dig into you. But most of all I love the lumbar support for my back! It is by far the best carrier on the market! I also LOVE green so this color is perfect for me! Another reviewer mentioned the straps hanging down. It's a small price to pay to have your hands free, have plenty of support for baby and not have a sore back at the end of the day!

This bjorn is a God send. My son LOVES it. My husband and I both have back issues and we LOVE it. I can wear it for hours. My husband goes for long walks and hikes, walking the dog and carring our son. Adjusting for height and weight is incredibly easy

This is a great product, and definitely easier on my back than my older, Traditional Baby Bjorn, but don't let the picture trick you. I thought it was brown with lime green accents. It is Olive Green with Lime Green accents. Wouldn't have wanted it if I knew that.

lumbar support is nice; baby feels secure in carrier; with a little practice, it's easy to get the baby in and out of it, and easy to see diagrams on the straps help; downside is it's a little hot to use in the hot weather; nice to use the carrier for shopping trips instead of lugging out the whole stroller

I had the basic Baby Bjorn. I don't think the Baby Bjorn active was that much better on my back than the basic. The big draw back to the Active is it doesn't fold up easely to fit in a diaper bag. It is really bulky. You have 4 straps hanging off of you with the active. I would stick with the basic. I do love the green color. It is easy to wash.
