The Lansinoh Disposable Nursing Pads – 60 Pack offer effective, discreet protection from leakage. A special absorbent polymer and stay-dry lining draws milk and moisture away from the breasts and into the core of the pad, keeping your skin and clothing dry. These sanitary pads are wrapped individually, so you can easily take a few with you in a purse. The pads are made in an ultrathin, no-show design and are kept in place with 2 adhesive strips, so you can use them comfortably in public with little risk for embarrassment.

I am strictly breastfeeding and so I have a lot of milk production... A LOT !
When I breastfeed my other breast leaks and when my breast are full they both leak... so I needed pads that I would not be embarassed because I had leaked through my shirt. These work amazingly! As much milk as I leak it does not go through my shirts. I even wear these without a bra (at home)and you cannot tell through my shirt that I have pads on. The pads are thick enough to hold milk but not so thick that they are noticeable. Someone else commented that they get stinky after a while.. well of course you have to change the pad after a couple hours if the pads are soaked with milk.. and I mean like 5 hours or so. Just like when you are on your period, you want to change the pad and not sit around something soaked. The milk gets smelly from your breast milk if it has been sitting around the whole day in the sweatyness and hotness of your breast, bra and shirt... yuck! For the safety of your babies mouth and for higiene reasons please make sure you switch your pads after a couple hours and not let your milk sit there.
I definetly recommend these pads, I just wish more came for the money because they can get pricey.

I have used both the Lansinoh "Ultra Soft" and "Ultra Thin" nursing pads. They are very different and both have pros/cons. The things I like best about this product are that the wrappers are super easy to open so I am not fiddling for 10 minutes every morning trying to get the pads in my bra. Also, they are very thin and discrete. They do a great job absorbing and they have an adhesive on the back to help keep them in place. On the con side, I do agree with other reviewers that they are somewhat itchy. I think the material feels like the paper gowns at a Doctor's office. And also, I think they have a wierd factory-like smell to them which I did not notice with the "Ultra Soft" pads. Wonder of anyone else noticed that? Despite these two cons, I do like the product and would still continue to use in the future.

I started out with the Medela nursing pads and thought they were good until my hubby bought these because they were out of Medela pads at the store. The Lansinoh pads are SO much better! There are two sticky sides on each pad where as the Medela pads only have one so they stay in place a lot better. The material in these are much softer so they look much better under bras/shirts. I have a large milk supply and tend to leak quite a bit and these are very absorbent. I have had to change them once during the day before but never have had them leak onto clothing. Don't waste your time with any other pads! These are more expensive but worth it to feel more comfy and have them stay in place!!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

the pads did not stick well and sometimes moved around which could make me leak onto my bra. when they did manage to stay i had no leaks and the pads weren't uncomfortable.

                I am a mom of three. I used these breast pads with every child. My most recent baby is now 6 months. I just finished weening breast to formula and I could not be more happy with this product. I never had any leakage or show of through clothing. Super absorbent for days I had to work and couldn't pump frequent enough. They have small sticker backs to hold them in place in your bra but they contoured to my breast so well I rarely peeled the backin off and they still stayed put. Each pad is individually wrapped and small for easy traveling. I would recommend these to any mom. Weither a first timer or a pro. Thanks you
