I love this seat, but be aware of your personal vehicle's possible size/limitations and how you want to use the seat. We have used this seat for my daughter since she came home from the hospital, she is now almost 2. We didn't want to lug around an infant carrier, and chose using our arms/front-pack, or sling instead. Therefore, once we sat up the seat, that's where it stayed until we decided to move it. The instructions are very clear and installation took about 30 minutes from unpacking.
As a rear facing seat, it does take up a little more space than some others I have seen my friends use. We originally had the seat installed in a VW Jetta, this relegated the front passenger seat to storage as the carseat was too wide to be situated in the center of the backseat and long enough that the 45 degree angle made the front seat not passenger friendly.
We decided to upsize vehicles for more leg room and overall comfort, as a result the seat fit perfectly in the rear-facing position.
The VW had much better tethers, including one on the floor for the rear facing position, the GMC does not so we had to tether the seat to the front seat frame until we turned the seat around.
We still have lots of room for adjustment on all the straps, sweetie is 75% on height and 25% on weight. The seat cover is holding up very well. A cup holder, and a toy storage pocket would be nice improvements on this product.

This is a fine car seat, easy to install. Our only complaint is the size of it in the rear facing position. We have an '09 Subaru Forester and the front seats have to be moved (uncomfortably) up in order to accommodate this seat.

This car seat seems like the right thing but had two huge flaws. The biggest is the placement of the crotch strap. The placement isn't adjustable as it is on the Britax Frontier. And at 6.5" from the back of the seat, it is only 0.5" further out that the strap on our current Britax Roundabout that our 3-y-o daughter is growing out of! Given that she is a skinny kid (10th percentile for weight), this car seat isn't going to last very long.

Also, I was utterly unable to get a secure fit in our car (a 1999 Subaru Outback), while both the Britax Roundabout and Frontier I was able to buckle in nice and firm.

So the car seat is going back. It may be well made and fold up wonderfully for traveling, but that isn't very useful if it isn't comfortable for my little girl.

Bought this seat last week and LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!! Although the only problem I had was ordering it from Babies R Us which is why only the 4 stars! When I got the seat I noticed the manufacture date was 10/2008! Meaning the seat was already 1yo (and if you know car seats they are only good for 6 years from the manf. date). These car seats are not cheap, but they are excellent so I just wanted one that would last the whole 6 yrs not 5! [...] Also if you have it rear facing it is really long so it would only fit in the middle of the backseat not behind a front seats (I drive a Tahoe). However, that wasn't a big deal for me.

This seat is great. I have twins and a 3 year old and you can fit 3 of these across the back seat of most cars. The fit is a bit tight when used in the rear facing position. The superccol fabric does stay a little cooler than you would expect. If I had know about this seat when my older son was born, I would not have bought any other. It doesn't have any of those silly cup holders, etc. kids never use. Oh yeah - you don't need a degree in aerospace engineering to install it. The folding feature is great - easy to carry for plane rides. Love it.

I love this seat. My daughter is 8.5 months old. We bought it b/c it had the highest height and weight limits. I love that they can be harnessed up to 80 lbs. We have had it about 2 weeks now. It is small and doesnt take up most of the back seat. My daughter just recently got sick while in the car seat and it was a breeze to remove the cover and get it washed. Cant even tell it was removed and washed. The only thing that I have a hard time with is tightening the straps. I hope its gets better the older she gets but it is really hard to get it as tight as it needs to be.

This car seat is great! I like that it is only 17" wide so in the back seat of our Honda Pilot we can fit the two car seats plus an adult can sit back there too (comfortably). It travels great and was pretty easy to install in our parent's cars while on vacation. In the rear facing direction the car seat is pretty big and does not leave a lot of space for the front seat passenger, but now that they sit forward facing we do not have that problem any more.

We use this car seat everyday in our Subaru Outback and Mercades SLK. The seat is in the back-facing position in the center of the back seat. In both cars it does come forward to the backs of the front seats and we have had to slide the passenger seats up a bit, but when you are riding in the front you don't notice it a bit and it does not seem to affect the recline of the car seat. My son loves this seat. He can see out the passenger windows and he does not become overheated. We moved him to this seat when he was 7 months old and weighed 17 pounds. The seat is easy to assemble and to install in the car. My only criticism is that the straps are hard to tighten, although I think that is because he is so small and I think this will resolve when he gets bigger and there is not as much excess strap- still this is not enough for me to lower the rating due to the positives of ease of install, viewing room for child, and comfort.
