My son enjoyed curling up his legs and kicking when he was born, the swaddling worked in the hospital, but after that he made me nervous because he'd end up kicking off the swaddling blanket and I didn't want him to suffocate. They make expensive special swaddling blankets that won't kick off, but that'd have probably really ticked him off. These let him move freely when he wanted and kept my mind at ease. We had another brand that zipped from the bottom up, and while it was a little easier to zip, these aren't that difficult and it really does make night time changing easier to have the zipper go down. In hind sight, though, I might try the ones with the swaddling arm piece for baby #2, I'm curious about them, might keep their arms warmer if nothing else.

i wasn't impressed with the way it washed. one of the features is that is zips from the top down, which is nice for diapers changes but sort of tricky to get zipped especially if you have a squirmy baby because the zipper is like a jacket zipper. i've enjoyed my carter's sleepsacks more and would recommend those over the halo...and they are cheaper!

I love this product...no matter how I swaddled my daughter she would kick off the blanket, socks and everything else, this keeps her little feet warm! Plus it zips from the top down, which makes for no pinched chubby chin and easy late night diaper changes! They really thought of everything with this product!

I love this product! It make me feel more secure knowing that my son is covered during the night. He doesn't have the risk of getting tangled up in a blanket or it covering his little face!

I have been using these sleepsacks since my son outgrew "swaddling" and i have nothing but praises for this product. Gives me peace of mind to know that my son is covered up without having to worry about his safety.

I LOVE this sleep sack! It is a must have for any newborn and definitely gives me piece of mind. My son hated being swaddled and this is the perfect way to keep him warm at night. Great in both cotton and fleece versions :)

I would not recommend this. My daughter hated it! She would get too warm and even though it was a size small, it was way to big and such a pain to have to zip it up. We tried using it and let her make the decision that it was just a waste of money. Personally if you put a onesie on your child then get some decent pj's that aren't too thin, then there is no reason why they need this extra layer and why you need to waste your time putting it on her and your money.

I must say I was skeptical about this product at first. Unless I know someone who's tried it I am always skeptical. But I gave it a try anyways.
I LOVE IT!

My favorite part is that during night time diaper changes I can unzip it half way and change the diaper without taking it off! Plus it has plenty of kick room. I enjoy not worrying about my baby boy being cold at night now. Plus I don't have to be paranoid about him being covered with a blanket!

This is a great buy! I have several and plan on using them for my next baby as well!
