I tried this changing pad cover when I had my son to match with the Serta Organic Contour changing pad (which I also adore). I wanted something soft, natural (and neutral), and durable - and this has it all. I liked it so much I bought another and have used both for 2 1/2 years with no complaints. I never used the straps, but I liked knowing the holes for the straps were there (you never know if you're going to get a squirmy baby) so it probably wouldn't have mattered if they didn't match up just right (although they did). The covers have held up so well that I got it for the changing pad at my parents' house and now I'm registering for another with twins on the way.

The material is quite thin and the holes are in the wrong place for my changing pad straps. The cover is also way too small and does not fully cover the Babies R Us changing pad. I returned the item and got the Carter's Dot Changing Pad cover which is much softer, prettier and fits perfectly.

With response to the reviews about "misplacement" of the holes. I have quite the opposite issue. I have been on a constant search for a changing pad cover with the holes in the center due to the fact that my changing station staps are placed in the center and I had to take back the one I received as a gift because the holes were in the side. They sell several covers with holes in the sides and not so many with holes in the center. I am relieved to have finally found a cover where the holes are in the right place. THANK YOU FOR MAKING A COVER THAT MATCHES UP TO THE STRAPS ON MY CHANGING TABLE!

The holes for straps in the middle of the cover, so it doesn't fit if your straps are on the sides. I sewing the holes closed, but it doesn't look nice.

I wanted to get the organic cotton because my son has sensitive skin, but these don't fit quite right and the strap holes are in the middle of the pad. That's where the messes happen and the straps on my table wouldn't even fit. I'm still using my changing table and my son is almost 1 year old. There is no way the straps would fit him now or even when he was a newborn. I don't understand what the person was thinking when these were designed.

This seemed like an awesome product because it's made from organic material, however, I was highly disappointed when I discovered the two slits for the safety straps to come through were located close to the middle of the changing pad where our baby will be laying. This will make it an uncomfortable diaper changing experience for our baby because he'll basically be laying right on top of the straps. The slits for the straps need to be placed on the sides of the cover so the straps can come up and around the baby comfortably; and NOT in the middle-top portion of the cover/changing pad like this one is doing.

The cover has two safety strap holes, but they run down the middle of the changing pad cover, not on the sides. The fabric is very soft and the cover looks great, but I will be returning the item due to the misplaced safety strap slits. Bummer!

I agree with another reviewer that this does not wash well. I got 2 of these, and they both look grungy after a few washes. This is not from diaper accidents either - I use a cloth diaper or lap pad on top of the changing table.

I like this cover. I love that I am laying my baby's skin against organic fabric when I change her, and she appreciates that the fabric is soft and warm. I only wish I ordered more, since they seem to rotate through the wash pretty frequently, but they do wash and dry easily. I still use an absorbent waterproof pad underneath, and or old rags/cloth diapers right under baby's bottom since she like to surprise us with that last-minute, unexpected pee/poo at some point while commando!
