Purchased this crib sheet since it was on clearance and has a super cute pattern. We haven't really used it yet since our son is still in the NICU but I've washed it and it held up fine. So all in all, nice crib sheet.

I prefer this sheet over the one that came with my son's bedding set. It fits perfectly on his crib mattress (Simmons brand) and looks cute in his room. It does fit tighter than the other sheet I have(Lambs and Ivy brand), but I have no problem getting it on over the mattress pad. I prefer the smoother snug fit as it doesn't bunch and have to be re-adjusted after putting the mattress back in the crib. It may have shrunk slightly after washing it for the first time, but I can't remember. I wash on warm and dry on low. It's been washed many, many times as my son is 14 months old and there's been no problem with the construction.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I purchased these and then saw all the awful reviews when I got home and had already begun washing the sheets. I washed on cold and dried on delicate, and they came out fine. They are a snugger fitting sheet, but they went on okay, even over my mattress protector. They look adorable with my bedding set.

Horrible! I prewashed the sheets and they ripped when I tried to put them on. Supposedly they're preshrunk but it's impossible to get them on the mattress.

Carter's has really cute patterns, but their sheets shrink with one washing & it's impossible to get all four corners of the sheet onto the mattress. These sheets are an exercise in frustration.
