Comments about Edushape Baby Beads:
These beads are attractive, but that is the only nice thing I can say... First, they are hollow in the middle, so once the child gets the "string" into the hole on one side, they lose the end in the bead and would have to have pretty amazing fine motor skills to feel around with the end of the string for the hole on the other side. Second, the "string" is actually a long segmented plastic stick that falls apart very easily, and the beads don't fit over the joints between the pieces, so even if a child is successful in getting a bead on there, the whole thing will immediately fall apart. They do make fun little balls to roll around the floor, and match with, but I would certainly not recommend them for stringing beads.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Not well made...

About Me First Time Parent
I was very disappointed with the product. The "beads" are actually heavy balls with the holes not completely drilled out. So the plastic string doesn't go in, it gets stuck in the hole. I even had a hard time trying to force the string through the hole on more than one bead. The string comes apart really easy, which is a good safety feature, but it actually falls apart pretty quickly. There are better products out there with the same concept.
