This is the third safety gate I brought for my son. Once he became mobile on his feet, I had to childproof the house immediately. This gate was easy to assemble and it came with a CD with video instructions. It's a great sturdy gate with tons of extensions to fit any opening.

The gates themselves are fantastic. They look great and they're super easy to use. That being said, the extensions that these gates come with only add enough extension to make the gate fit the average doorway.
Had a bit of an issue getting the right gate extension for hallway but now that I have it all installed I love it!

I spent some time online trying to decide which gate I would need to close off my two 57 inch doorways. I decided that the value pack would be the less expensive way to take care of my two doorways. Toy's R Us had not only the value pack but also the correct longer 21 inch extensions. [...] I love the gates. Using the appropriate extension for my doorway made installation a breeze and I love the fact that these are pressure mounted (no need to mar my doorways). The gate is easy to open but snap closed securely with ease. I would advise anyone attempting to span a space like my 57 inch doorway use the value pack (with the included 3.5 inch extension) with the 24 inch extension instead of the 21 inch, since our pressure fit is at the end range of it's capabilities.

We love the Gate, we could only use one, we ordered the double gate, but the way our doors are set up we couldnt use the second.

It is always hard to find a baby gate that you can trust, but I gave the Dream Baby gate a try and it is the best I have seen yet. It is extremely durable and can stand up to my 11 month old who constantly tries to get through it without using the handle! It just feels strong when you remove it from the box, and looks good in your home. It is plenty high enough, but has a swinging door with latch so there is no climbing over it.
One suggestion I would make, however; make sure you measure the entryway that you are going to put it up in before you buy it, or buy an extension or two just in case. This should be a no-brainer, but I made this mistake and luckily I had purchased two gates so I used one of the extra extensions. Otherwise, great product!

Works perfectly. My toddler can't get it open or shake it loose, but my 6 year old can open it easily. Love the fact that the gate swings shut once you walk through it.

2 gates and 2 extensions are not wide enough for stairs. I work in construction and all stairs are atleast 36 inches wide and around 40 inches wall to wall. Manufacture puts how wide gates "can be" but fail to tell you that you have to purchase extra extension pieces that will cost an additional $60-$90. Don't buy this product unless you plan on spending $200+ for gates, a little outrageous in my opinion. If you do choose this one make sure you buy 2 extra 7 inch extensions with your purchase [...]

The two pack of this gate were perfect for the top and bottom of the stairs. Please note, you must drill into your stair railings to install so no go if you have metal rails. Also, I would note that even though the gate shuts immediately behind you, it does not necessarily lock securely so you should always check. My son was able to open one day since it had not shut properly and if it weren't for the fact my husband was there to grab him, he would have had a nasty fall.

got these gates to use at both the top and bottom of the steps!Love how easy they are to use, my older kids have no problem with them. Especially love that it swings shut on its own! Can use it one handed while carrying a sleeping baby!
