My son is now 3 and still uses this bike daily. He loves it! Now that he is older, he whizzes around the driveway and plays "Tour de France" while my husband and I ride our bikes and "race" him. He received it for his 1st birthday and it is well worth it. It is still in top condition and can't wait for my younger son to use it in a year or so.

I bought this on clearance for [$] and i can see why, when my 1 1/2 year old rides it the back wheels hit the back of his feet he can only move it about 2 inches at a time without this happening.

I bought this for my one-year old's first birthday. WOW! He loves it! Just days after he started scooting around on this, he began walking. It's great for development-hand/eye coordination and agility. Well worth the money. My three year old even had his fun--and he's a big boy, too, at 45 lbs! Wish I had bought this years ago for my older son.

When we received our Radio Flyer Scoot-About, it sat around in the box as I procrastinated the daunting task of assembling. Surprisingly, however, it took my husband and I a total of 10 minutes putting it together. It was wonderfully easy, but we used a socket wrench rather than a regular screwdriver and wrench--made the assembly all the quicker.

As for the scooter itself, it is the quality I expected from Radio Flyer and looks heads and tails nicer in our home than a cheap plastic monster truck (and it's comparatively priced!). I think the handlebar tassels are a little girly, but my 13-month-old son seems to love them. This was a great Christmas present for our little guy.

I bought this radio flyer for my 14 month old son. He loves it. He is not quite old enough to understand sitting and scooting. Right now he mostly walks with it. The 18 month recommendation is accurate for this product. When he walks with it, his feet hit the back wheels, but that will probably change when he starts scooting on it. It is sturdy and so cute. The front axle is plastic, but very strong and sturdy. My five year old daughter plays on it, and it is strong enough for her. We love this product.

Great first RF. My son loves the bell! Easy to assemble as long as you have a couple tools. Very cute and VERY sturdy. It's heavy duty like all Radio Flyers.

this was for my youngest daughters 1st birthday. she watches her older sister ride her bike and was ready for her own. she loves it. her feet do hit the back wheels some, but overall it was a great purchase.

My grandson is almost two years old. He had difficulty with other riding toys. After checking the internet I found this Radio Flyer Scoot-About on line. It has a little seat on it just like a bike and he is able to move his feet around where he could not on other riding toys.
I also chose this riding toy because of adjustable seat so I know it will grow with my grandson as he grows.
