I received this glider and ottoman from a family member who used it for a few years. I am about to buy a new one because of how badly the chair creaks and squeaks. Plus while gliding the chair "catches" on itself and it isn't smooth. The seat is also a little narrow.

I hate this chair! I picked it because it was less expensive and matched the decor of our nursery. It ended up being one of the most horrible things ever purchased! It started squeaking and creeking about 2 months later and one day the arm just popped right off. I read the instructions carefully, so i know it's the chair and not me.
It's also uncomfortable and tight. The baby, me and the boppy barely fit and after maybe a half hour my butt is sore from sitting in the thing.
Don't purchase this chair, there are much better ones out there. If you're going to spend more than half your day in a rocking chair for the next few months, then the money for a comfy chair is well worth it. Happy mommy equals happy baby...happy baby equals happy mommy...uncomfortable mommy is not happy!

We were going to buy a less-expensive glider, but my in-laws bought this one for us. Since I use this glider several times a day, I'm glad that we have a more expensive, quality glider. The matching ottoman is great too.

My only two complaints are:
1.) The chair could glide a little smoother.
2.) The armrests could be more comfortable.

Other than that, great chair!

I have this in our nursery and I love it. It is very comfortable and my daughter loves to be rocked in it. It was pretty easy to put together, I did it with my 13 year old daughter. The color of the cushions is more of a chambray color, it is so cute.

This rocker looks nicer than expected given the price. It's not quite as comfortable as I was hoping for, but it's certainly not bad. The arms seem to be a good height for nursing--I tried sitting in it with my Boppy and it fit perfectly. The seat is a bit narrow, even for a smaller-sized person; I was hoping to be able to tuck my legs up while sitting, and that's not happening. Overall, though, we are very happy. As others mentioned the color is more attractive than it looks in the photo.

I think that you cannot beat this chair for the money. I have had it about a week now and it seems very well built and is comfortable for the most part. The cushions are nice and I think that it will hold up very well to years of use. I was on the fence about the blue cushions until I read the other review about the color being much better in person and it is. It looks very nice in my son's nursery. Also, the back is very upright, but the comfort level is substantially improved when you have some way to elevate your feet. I use a nursing stool, which works fine, as the ottoman was not available when I ordered the chair. My local [...] store only carries the pricier chairs but to be honest, I didn't really like any of the reclinable ones better than this chair, and I really couldn't justify spending $400 on a chair. This is a really great chair for the money.

I was very hesitant about purchasing this at first because of the color of the fabric. It looks very dark in the picture, but I bought it anyway because I really wanted a white glider with removable washable cushions. I was more than thrilled when it arrived. The color is much lighter and attractive in person. The chair was easy to put together and is so comfortable! I highly recommend this glider/ottoman set!

I am very pleased with the quality of this glider. I also purchased the matching ottoman. For the price, it has exceeded my expectations in terms of construction and the fabric. The mibrofiber fabric was stained with petroleum jelly and I was able to take out the stain effectively using a fabric wash for delicates.
