Comments about Born Free Inc BornFree 2-Pack Drinking Cup Spouts:

These are stiffer than the beginner spouts and are NOT leak proof, so be sure you know that if it's not what you want. If the cup is turned over, it will spill out. It's for drinking, not sucking.

Certain foods (like tomato sauce) can stain these, but with a good scrubbing they come clean.

After about a year's worth of toddler use and hundreds of washings, the hole was ripped enough that we needed replacement spouts for our cups. Our stores do not carry them anymore so we had to order online. The only downside is not being able to pick the colors, but we have yellow and green cups, and received the yellow spouts so it worked out well. I'd give 5 stars if we could choose the color and the material resisted stains better. But overall I'm very happy with the product and recommend them to everyone.

Comments about Born Free Inc BornFree 2-Pack Drinking Cup Spouts:

My son drinks everything except his milk out of sippy (or regular!) cups at this point, but is having a hard time weaning off the bottles for his milk. I thought that these might be the ticket since he is used to the Born Free bottles anyway. Since he is already good at sippy cups, we skipped the more flexible spouts and went right to these.

So far, so good. They are a bit stiff and I found myself chewing on them for a while to soften them up for him. They seem to be softening a little more the more they get washed. Also, they are not spillproof, which is fine by my son but leads to a mess for me!

Definitely glad I got them and would recommend them, especially to those using Born Free bottles anyway. My only real complaint is not from Born Free but from BRU - it does say that you ship a random color, but really... did you have to send my little boy HOT PINK?!

My son doesn't like it...

Comments about Born Free Inc BornFree 2-Pack Drinking Cup Spouts:

My son did okay on the trainer spouts, but was frustrated at the rate of flow so we tried the drinking spouts, which is supposed to be a faster flow. However, he still doesn't like it. I wonder if it's because this is too hard on his new teeth/sensitive gums due to teething. However, just because my son doesn't like it, doesn't mean it won't work for you. Good luck! The quest for the sippy cup continues...

Comments about Born Free Inc BornFree 2-Pack Drinking Cup Spouts:

I've tried almost every sippy cup/drinking cup out there and with the right kid they will all leak!

These spouts though are not sippy spouts, be aware of what you are buying, they are DRINKING CUP spouts...hence free-flowing! So yes your child will be drenched without proper guidance on how to drink from a cup :o) that's a pretty easy one to figure out...

We love them and would never use anything else. Most of the other cups aren't even "suitable" for sterilization! I just buy these spouts and use a 4oz. Born Free glass bottle with a silicone sleeve and we're good to go! I don't worry about a thing...no BPA/chemicals, no funky plastic smell, no worries!

Comments about Born Free Inc BornFree 2-Pack Drinking Cup Spouts:

This spout's material is firmer than the 6 month spout by Born Free that is soft where the liquid has to be sucked out. This spout, made for 9 month old +, practically pours out but that is why they call it a 'drinking cup' spout and not a 'training cup' spout. Depending on the child's ability, drinking can be a mess until the child learns how to drink from it properly (learns the flow and doesn't take too much into their mouth). It's not messy as if s/he was drinking from a cup without a lid. It does leak from the spout's opening in the bottle bag but that's why it comes with a cover.

Born Free is the only sippy cup brand I buy my children.

One thing I learned to that after 6 months the spout should be replaced because the dishwater can stretch the spouts opening (where the milk pours out) much larger but then again as my baby approaches 2 years it's good that the spout is so large so that it better prepares her to drink from a cup without a lid.

Comments about Born Free Inc BornFree 2-Pack Drinking Cup Spouts:

I guess I could have guessed based on the "free flow of liquid" line that these weren't like my other Born Free spout. These literally pour liquid out of them at the slightest turn of the sippy cup. I'm not sure which terms differentiate the spouts but this isn't what I thought it was. I do like the Born Free cups otherwise, just not this style of spout.

It's true that they leak. what I have done is used the soft spout form the training cup on the drinking cup and I have had no leaks. You can put cearel in it as well. My son likes better the soft spout on the drinking cup and it works real nice for us.

Comments about Born Free Inc BornFree 2-Pack Drinking Cup Spouts:

My daughter loves to chew when drinking so regular sippy cups don't work. The first time she tried this spout she drank to her heart's content. We've been able to give her cereal in it as well.

The only down fall is that it leaks slightly in the diaper bag. I just use a piece of plastic and screw the lid on over it. I would like it more if it had a cap between the lid and bottle.

I love that I can get any tip she needs and I don't have to worry about BPA with this product. I definitely recommend it.
